شبیه به اصطلاح بالا، این اصطلاحه I hear you! که یعنی، بله من می‌فهمم چرا اینقدر ناراحتی. مثلا بین خواهر و برادر دعوا شده، خواهر خیلی ناراحت شده و با گریه داره توضیح می‌ده که چه اتفاقی افتاد. پدر یا مادر با احساس همدردی بهش این جمله رو می‌گن. حالا یک جمله دیگه هم هست که بار احساسیش حتی بیشتر از این آخریه: My heart goes out to you. یعنی دلم کباب شد برایت (البته خیلی رسمی تره در انگلیسی نسبت به دلم کباب شد). خیلی درکت می‌کنم و احساس همدردی می‌کنم و ناراحتم از ناراحتیت.
