Life sucks!

Your energy is limited, and the wrong person can cost you far more than your time. They can drain your peace, your focus, your confidence, and your patience pieces of you that you can’t easily get back. That’s what makes investing in the wrong person so expensive...fr you don’t just lose energy giving to them, you lose energy recovering from them. Be intentional with where you pour yourself, because not everyone deserves access to the version of you that took so much work to build.

ዛሬ በአንግሊካን ቤተ ክርስቲያን ሥርዓት የቅድስት ድንግል ማርያም ዕረፍት (መታሰቢያ) ቀን ይከበራል። ቤተ ክርስቲያን በዚህ ቀን ብፅዕት እመቤታችንን ወላዲተ አምላክ መሆኑዋን በማስታወስ ይከበራል ፤ ይህም እግዚአብሔር በድኅነት ታሪክ ውስጥ እንዴት የክብር ማደሪያ አድርጎ እንደተጠቀመባት ለማስታወስ ነው። በዋናነት ወንጌላት ላይ  በሚገኘው ፣ በተለይም ቅድስት ድንግል ማርያም ትንቢታዊ መዝሙር  (Magnificat) ውስጥ እንዲህ እንደዘመረችው ፦ ⁴⁷ ነፍሴ ጌታን ታከብረዋለች፥ መንፈሴም በአምላኬ በመድኃኒቴ ሐሴት ታደርጋለች፤ ⁴⁸ የባሪያይቱን ውርደት ተመልክቶአልና። እነሆም፥ ከዛሬ ጀምሮ ትውልድ ሁሉ ብፅዕት ይሉኛል፤ የሉቃስ ወንጌል 1:47-48 በተጨማሪም የጸሎት መጽሐፍ (Book of Common Prayer) በነሐሴ 9 / Aug 15 (እንደ አንግሊካን ቤተ ክርስቲያን ቀን መቁጠሪያ) ቅድስት ማርያምን እንደ ታዛዥነት መልካም ምሳሌ አድርጎ ያቀርባል። ----- የቀኑ ጸሎት አቤቱ እግዚአብሔር ሆይ፥ የልጅህ እናት የሆነችውን ብፅህት ድንግል ማርያምን ፣ ወደ አንተ ወስደሃልና፤ በደሙ የተቤዥን እኛ ከእርሷ ጋር የዘላለም መንግሥትህን ክብር መካፈል ይሁንልን ፤ በጌታችን በኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ፣ ከአንተና ከመንፈስ ቅዱስ ጋር አንድ ሆኖ የሚኖርና የሚነግሥ፣ አንድ አምላክ፣አሁንም ለዘላለምም እስከ ዘለዓለም ክብር ይሁን አሜን። @anglicanfaith @classical_Protestant #Anglican #mary #theotokos

These days, most of what i think of is about what the portrait of my life looks like, how it would have been better drawn and what i should do to make it better. you know, the usual. but the thought that i particularly go back to time and time again is, the fragility of it all. The most certain thing in your life that you should be is that your life is fragile. what i mean by life is fragile is not that life will one day eventually slip out off your hands, even though that is what defines life's fragility the most. but don't get me wrong on this one too, i am not seeing this as a simple thing and proceeding to another, yes it will. life will slip out of your hands and its a very scary thing to really comprehend and sympathize with that inevitable truth. What i mean by the fragility of life is a kind that is experienced each and every second of existence. why you've gone this far fundamentally doesn't make sense, all the good and all the bad. the constant state of becoming from what was to what will be is absurd. it doesn't feel stable. maybe this is trauma or some other bad mental thing but in the now of all things experienced and yet to be, there is always a gap that makes everything you touch incomplete . maybe you relate or maybe you don't but when the time comes that you do, look for whats missing in christ, whatever that means.
