Great day at Hong Lim Park. The event was well organised by SG Climate Change, a group of young people. I was a bit disoriented when the first few speakers came to the mics and introduced themselves by their pronouns. Aunty is more old fashion. My current pronouns are : Don't touch our forests. Anyway, great to see such a big turn out and for young people to be passionate about the future of Singapore. I also bumped into David Nga Thio Ping, guy who wrote the Chek Java petition back in the early days with no change.org. Recently, David came to see me and thanked me for my work in medical freedom. One thing that connects everyone in Singapore is nature. Nature helps us to stay healthy and be a healthy nation. Happy Sunday everyone and will need to prepare for a while week of trials now. It was an extraordinary event because I remembered feeling alive that we could all do something to make a change. Back in the early 2000, there was no change.org back then so I helped to canvass for real signatures. The good news is that Chek Java got saved. I was living near to Maju Forest and Dover at that time. Recently, after I launched my book, I was surprised to meet another elderly man, who was at that time also at the forefront of saving Chek Java. It seems everything has come full circle.
