impact.play is tomorrow night, and this week, we’re doing karaoke! Come on down to Massive to sing your heart out and hang out with all of us! We can’t wait to see you there! Karaoke is free, but we do heavily encourage you to leave a tip if you can!

The season stretches on as far as the heart can feel: the spring a wilted memory, the fall still behind a thick marine fog. Mountains shy away, smoke closes in. Sun after sun after amber evening sun sets you wobbly, hazy, red, and eager for a night of relief. Such is the backdrop to our collective fervor! Our circles slip away to beaches to mingle their let-off steam into those hazed evening skylines. Clocks signal south west, if your eyes can still parse them over the fluidity of social commotion. May bus routes be the lay lines between these hills that serve as a petri dish of dreams coming true. Bottle the moment, see that experience as sound: SunnyDaze! Almost four years in the making, it’s time to mark our centennial with a three stage Kremwerk takeover at 100% IMPACT running nine hours! We’ve successfully, (to various degrees :P), managed to do 100 shows, and to celebrate we’re taking over all three stages at Kremwerk, where we’re bringing one of the most diverse and unforgettable lineups we’ve ever done to celebrate! This celebration is about celebrating all that you and I are, have been, and will be. Favela bass, bolha, mandelão, the whole works make this night October's most sonically treacherous terrain. Attention Seattle Friends! Recently the city has been grappling with the trans refugee crisis; as many of you I know can probably attest, there's been a flood of new arrivals to Seattle, and the existing infrastructure is struggling to keep up with demand. People are desperately in need of more resources as they flee oppression. So, organizations at the front lines of this such as KOI, MANTIS, and TRACTION, the Seattle LGBTQ Commission and members of the community have been advocating for the city to declare a state of emergency in order to get more funding and resources for the people doing the hard work of keeping us safe. Show up tomorrow @ City Hall at 2pm to support this and show the city how important this all is! Tomorrow night at impact.play, we’re celebrating the elusive 5th Wednesday with our very first Pajama Movie Night! Entry is free, plus we'll have popcorn! Come hang starting around 9, then movies begin at 10. We’re kicking things off with the cult classic Party Monster, followed by a second feature chosen at random. We’ll also have a kandi station set up while we lounge around the club (so you should probably bring some friends). It's gonna be a nice night to get to know folks and get cozy.
