Fleets from Guangdong, Fujian and Guangxi headed out for the new fishing season, with many crews preparing to spend around a month at sea. I had to clandestinely cross into the US by swimming over a half frozen river in the middle of February at minus 26 degrees Celsius under the cover of night. My crime was telling the truth and exposing the crimes of the international system and by extension of the Canadian state. But my friend and brother from another mother, Harish, made it and that is all that matters now. My review for the book newly published by my friend, Harish Masand. "Canada destroyed my life, but gave Harish a second. It is a savage country where civilization is just a thin veneer. It’s economy is as brutal as its climate, but none more brutal than its government or more barbaric and corrupt than its judiciary. It was always this way, but got far worse after 9/11 when Canada also became fascist along with the US. It is no wonder that one in five immigrants leave, most within five years of their arrival. I left because I could not exercise my fundamental rights and freedoms from Canadian soil and not because I could not integrate or because I hated its winters. The government kept arresting me for exposing the surveillance and censorship program that ravaged freedom of speech and conscience in universities across the western world and subsequently for exposing the depopulation agenda that ravages fertility and longevity worldwide. I barely made it out of Canada alive.

After 18 days of resuming my daily Ashtanga yoga practice, I noticed a huge change in the body. Whereas for the first 17 days my yoga was labored and tortured, on the 18th day I felt suddenly much lighter and the practice felt a lot easier. We shall see how long it will take before I look like I did 8 years ago when this picture was taken.
