Helen is a graduate in agricultural engineering and was looking for a job with no success. When I asked Helen why she thinks she is not getting hired, Helen said she thinks it is because she doesn’t have work experience and in all her interviews they had asked her about work experience. She said she was a recent graduate and had not done any internship or had any other jobs. So I ran an experiment with Helen using a few tools from my toolbox. It turns out Helen had more experience than she gave herself credit for. For example, Helen had been teaching her two aunts who have a combined ~1 hectare of land how to improve the yield of pineapples. Over the past year, their harvest had increased by 1 truck. Her recommendations ranged from quality of pineapple inputs, to crop management strategies and accounting. I asked her why she never mentioned this in her interviews. She said “Oh it was just a pass time during holidays when I went to the village to help out with farm work” WHAT? Long story short.. Helen had no idea she was siting on a wealth of valuable experience. She completely lacked the ability to communicate and sell what she had done. We worked on that and she didn’t have to lie about anything, its all legit and she has training to defend this in any interview or conference for that matter. This is how it looks on her CV now. Agricultural Consultant (Independent) Smallholder Pineapple Optimization Project | June 2023 – Present Led an independent agricultural improvement initiative for a 1-hectare smallholder pineapple operation, delivering end-to-end technical advisory services across the production cycle. Key Contributions: - Conducted comprehensive soil and crop assessment to identify yield-limiting factors in existing pineapple cultivation practices - Developed and implemented improved input selection protocols, advising on optimal pineapple sucker quality, fertilizer application schedules, and pest management strategies -Designed simplified farm accounting system enabling producers to track input costs against harvest revenue for the first time -Provided ongoing crop management guidance including planting density optimization, weed control scheduling, and harvest timing recommendations Results Achieved: -Increased annual harvest output by approximately 100% (one additional truckload) within first production cycle -Improved producer decision-making capacity through introduction of basic cost-benefit tracking -Established replicable smallholder advisory model applicable to similar farming contexts Of course, this completely transformed her cover letter as well. She was hired by a prominent agriculture company in her country in an entry level position. As you can see, Its really not magic. Since the launch of the my new fully self-paced mentorship program, questions have been pouring in. Especially " _I am not sure about what I am getting"_ . I am offering a sneak peak into Module 4 titled "What should I write in my personal statement?". Personal statements are required all the time and writing a successful one requires strategy. I have modified one of the templates and made it freely accessible. Download here https://drbmenuh.selar.com/66b609 The program contains many more similar templates, frameworks, strategies, scholarship resources I have curated and perfected over the years. If you want to see the full content of the program or access it, check it out here. https://drbmenuh.selar.com/56025689l6
You’ve done “everything right” yet still feel stuck—rejections, confusing requirements, and the constant feeling that your degree or GPA will never be “good enough.” You watch others win scholarships and study abroad while you refresh your inbox and second‑guess every application. The longer you wait, the harder it feels to even start. But you could be the student who actually breaks through: confidently shortlisting the right scholarships, sending polished applications on time, and finally getting that fully funded offer—despite a second‑class degree, past rejections, or zero connections. Imagine opening your email to an acceptance letter, updating your CV with a new scholarship and a professional certificate, and proving (to yourself and everyone else) that your background does not define your ceiling. Over 2 years, I have put together everything I know into this program (https://drbmenuh.selar.com/56025689l6). It has helped many youths get scholarships in Germany, Canada, US, Turkey, Japan, etc. Its now available as an online program you can take at your pace learn everything, get templates, guides, examples, checklists, and a certificate in the end. Here’s how this program solves your exact problems: You don’t know what to write or how to structure it → You get copy‑paste templates for CVs, personal statements, SOPs, motivation letters, and letters of intent, so you never stare at a blank page again. You’re scared of hidden mistakes costing you opportunities → You get clear quality checklists to review every application before you submit, so you stop losing chances to avoidable errors. You’re unsure how to present a second‑class degree or “imperfect” profile → You get special formula guides (like the Second‑Class Success Formula and HND Pathways) that show you exactly how to frame your story as an asset, not a weakness. You don’t know which scholarships to apply for or how to track them → You get a scholarship tracker with 40+ fully funded scholarships pre‑loaded (deadlines, requirements, application tips), so you always know what to do next. You feel alone and don’t know what a winning application looks like → You get real sample documents from successful applications, so you can model what works instead of guessing. You don’t know what to say to professors or recommenders → You get email templates to request recommendations, follow up professionally, and gently persuade busy people to support your application. You want proof of your effort on your CV → You get a certificate at the end of the course to showcase continuous professional development and signal seriousness to selection committees. And the list continues. If you doubt yourself, blame yourself. Join the program here https://drbmenuh.selar.com/56025689l6

Past few months we have been working in the background to bring more actionable and useful content to you guys. We are delivering more content through a newsletter. The first edition went out today, A short snippet below. Subscribe to it if you haven't yet. Continue to stay tuned for more legit travel and study abroad opportunities. Why am I losing so many opportunities? I cannot count the number of times I have heard this from people.. You’ve probably been in that seat before; the interviewer says, “Tell me about yourself.” And just like that, your mind goes blank. You mumble something as it comes to mind. Maybe it sounds okay. But later, when you walk out, that sinking feeling hits you, you know your answer was not good enough. You realize you’ve done this over and over again. Another opportunity, lost not because you're not qualified, but because you didn't own your story. That hurts, I know. You’re not lazy. You’ve worked hard. But the way you tell your story? It’s been costing you jobs, scholarships, and open doors you never even knew closed. Let’s fix that. Now let me tell you about one of the most asked — and most poorly answered — questions in interviews: 👉🏾 “Tell me about yourself.” Sounds simple, right? But most people just fumble it but they are surprised when they don't get a call back. They never made any impression. I recently had a one-on-one session with a mentee — a brilliant lawyer named Jane. Her initial answer sounded like this: “I’m Jane. I have a Master’s in Law. I’ve worked in the legal field for 5+ years. I’m passionate about law and want to grow in the field…” I paused her right there. That’s the kind of answer everyone gives — vague, forgettable, and lacking power. So, I asked better questions. I helped her reflect on her wins. Here’s what she came up with after 10 minutes:..... ..... .. you can subscribe here to get more actionable tips to boost your chances applications for jobs or scholarships. https://243332103.hs-sites-na2.com/newsletter-subscribe

Most people think IELTS and TOEFL are just tests for English knowledge and thats the mindset that costs them points even before they decide to take the tests. The problem with thinking that way is it makes the candidate think they are going to the hall to be tested on their routine English (because they think they have studied and spoken english for the most part of their education). The critical part that is overlooked by candidates and even institutions that do preparatory classes for candidates going to write these exams is that THESE ARE EXAMS. There is always a difference between knowing something and actually passing EXAMS (Hence the saying exams are not the true test of knowledge). Aside the fact that most people completely underestimate the amount of preparation required to have high scores, the right thing to do is PRACTICE for THE EXAM much much more and not for English. In simple words. Take as many mock tests as possible. I recommend at least 10. Preferably mock tests that are graded by computer and not your teacher. The advantage here is this is the only thing that brings you closest to EXAM CONDITIONS because its more about handling exam CONDITIONS than your knowledge of English I got 102/120 in TOEFL after preparing for 2 weeks only. THATS WHAT I APPLIED AND THATS WHAT WORKS. Good luck.
