- 27 мар. 2025 г.EID AL-FITR: PART 3 #SUNAN OF EID 1. Take a bath (Ghusl) Zaadhaan said: A man asked 'Ali (RA) about bathing. He said: Bathe every day if you wish. He said: No, (I mean) ghusl (in the sense of purification). He said: On Fridays, the day of 'Arafah, the Day of Sacrifice (Eid al-Adha) and the day of (Eid) al-Fitr. [Al-Bayhaqi, 6124; Graded as Sahih by al-Albani in al-Irwa' al-Ghaleel, 1/177] The Scholar said: It is Sunnah to do ghusl for Eid prayer. The reason why it is Mustahabb is the same reason as that for doing ghusl before Jumu'ah and other public gatherings. Rather on Eid the reason is even stronger. [1] 2. Wear best clothes 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar (RA) said: 'Umar (RA) found a suit of istabraq (a type of silk) being offered for sale in the market, so he took it and brought it to the Messenger of Allaah (Sallallaahu 'Alayhi Wa Sallam) and said: O Messenger of Allaah (Sallallaahu 'Alayhi Wa Sallam), buy this and adorn yourself with it for Eid and for the delegations. The Messenger of Allaah (Sallallaahu 'Alayhi Wa Sallam) said: "This is only a garment for the one who has no share in the Hereafter." [Sahih al-Bukhari, 948 and Muslim, 2068] Ibn 'Umar (RA) used to wear his best clothes on the two Eid. [Bayhaqi; Graded as Sahih by Ibn Rajab in Fath al-Baari (6/68, 72)] The Scholar said: *The Prophet (Sallallaahu 'Alayhi Wa Sallam) did not object to adorning oneself for Eid; rather he told him that wearing this suit was Haraam, because it was made of silk. [2] *It is Sunnah for men on Eid to adorn themselves and wear their best clothes. [2] *With regard to women, they should not wear beautiful clothes when they go out to the Eid prayer-place, because the Prophet (Sallallaahu 'Alayhi Wa Sallam) said: "Let them go out looking decent" i.e., in regular clothes that are not fancy. [3] 3. Apply scent and 4. Use the Miswaak – Common Sunnah Ibn Abbas (RA) narrated: The Messenger of Allaah (Sallallaahu 'Alayhi Wa Sallam) said: This is a day of Eid that Allaah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'la) has ordained for the Muslims, so whoever comes to Jumu'ah, let him take a bath and if he has any perfume let him put some on and you should use the Miswaak. [Ibn Majah, 1098; Graded as Hasan by al-Albani in Sahih Ibn Majah] The Scholar said: *It is Sunnah for men on Eid to apply scent. [2] *It is Haraam for a woman who wants to go out for Eid to put on perfume and make up. [3] *The use of the Miswaak is a Sunnah in general but in certain circumstances it is given even greater emphasis and preference. [4] 5. Make Du'a (Supplication) – Common Sunnah [5] When putting on new clothes: اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ كَسَوْتَنِيهِ، أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِهِ وَخَيْرِ مَا صُنِعَ لَهُ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهِ وَشَرِّ مَا صُنِعَ لَهُ Allaahumma lakal-hamdu 'Anta kasawtaneehi, 'as'aluka min khayrihi wa khayri maa suni'a lahu, wa 'a'oozu bika min sharrihi wa sharri ma suni'a lahu. [Abu Dawud, 4020; Graded as Sahih by al-Albani in Sahih Abu Dawud] Someone who put on new clothes: تُبْلِي وَيُخْلِفُ اللهُ تَعَالَى Tublee wa yukhliful-laahu ta'aalaa. Here is what the scholars said: This du'a asks for: · Ghaddal-basar — the ability to lower your gaze · Iffatal-farj — protection of your chastity Before the temptation comes. The Prophet ﷺ also said: "The eyes commit zina — and their zina is the look." Every glance is a small act of zina. Every second look is a step toward the sin. And this du'a protects you from both.0,00%
