Sensation Play - Next Sunday 23.8.26 What happens when we slow down and really pay attention to sensation? How does it feel to be touched with something soft, rough, warm, cold, ticklish, sharp, heavy or unexpected? What changes when a sensation becomes more intense, or when it becomes almost unnoticeably subtle? And how can we communicate what we enjoy, what we are curious about, and what we would like to change? Sensation Play is a guided workshop for exploring touch, bodily sensations and connection in a playful and curious way. Throughout the workshop, we will experiment with a variety of different materials, textures and tools and explore the different sensations they can create on the body. You are always in charge of your own participation. ❤️‍🔥 Slut Circle in the Burggarten ❤️‍🔥 Janina has encouraged and given her blessing to more self-organizing within this group, and the two of us, Julius and Mark, have decided to take the initiative. Hosting a Slut Circle is still new territory for us. Thank you for giving us the space to learn the ropes, loosen the knots, and do our best not to tie ourselves up in them! 😉 The format will closely follow Janina’s format. We will: • Make some agreements • Decide together on three juicy topics • Break into smaller groups to discuss your favourite topic in depth • Come back together to share what we learned 👉 What is a Slut Circle? 🌻 Meet the newest member of the Parallel Universe team: Valerie (she/her) 🌻 We're so happy to welcome Valerie to the Parallel Universe Festival core team! 💛 Valerie is a social worker, sx educator, parent of two, queer and non-monogamous human who brings warmth, curiosity and community care into everything she does. She is passionate about feminism, intersectionality, gender, anti-racism, politics and parenting, and strives to live her life with kindness, respect and authenticity. One topic especially close to her heart is sx-positive parenting. Valerie explores how children can grow up with body autonomy, honest conversations about sexuality, empowerment and safety - without shame. For her, it's also about integrating the different, sometimes seemingly contradictory, parts of herself into one authentic life.
