‼️Important changes to the Russian immigration legislation‼️ Those foreign nationals that received Temporary residency permits based on 702 from 1at of February 2027 will be allowed to apply for new TRP without leaving Russia. 🔵It’s not an extension, it’s a new application! Important that such applications should be filed not earlier than 6 months before the expiration of the current TRP and not later than 4 months before its expiration. It is obvious that this change is aimed to remedy the 821 Presidential Decree requirement of signing of the contract with the Russian military before being able to apply for permanent residence. #NEWS@movingtorussia

6th Russian Travel Forum was as always a great event! During our panel discussion – From tourism to immigration very important topics have been raised and discussed! Representatives from Nizhny Novgorod, Pskov, Kurgan region were sharing their insights on how to assist foreigners to move to Russia! Founder of the first private city Dobrograd Vladimir Sedov was sharing his experience on the topic, as many Westerners choose Dobrograd to relocated to! There is still a lot to improve in the process of promoting Russia as the place to visit and relocate but we are on the right track. He came to help a married couple from the USA, Guntis and Olga, with moving to Russia for permanent residence. Together with Timur, Guntis and Olga passed a medical examination, submitted their documents for translation, and visited a resettlement manager at Sberbank. They are now preparing to apply for a residence permit under Presidential Decree 702. ✔️In addition, together with Elena Polonskaya, the Commissioner for Work with Compatriots and Migration Issues under the Governor of the Pskov Region, Timur worked on promising projects.
