  • If old people no longer physically, mentally, financially able to look after themselves, younger family should be legally responsible for supporting them. To what extent do you agree or disagree? When old people are not able to take care of themselves physically, financially, and mentally, it should be legitimized that younger family members take the responsibility of looking after them. I totally agree with this view as there are several benefits it can bring to individuals – family duty and strengthening the bonds between the families – are more significant. There are host of reasons why it might be a problem to legitimate taking care of old people. The chief among them is overburdening for young people. Some people work day and night to satisfy the basic needs of their children and when there is one more member who needs extra attention with medicines and food, it might affect the head of the family, making them to work more, leading to anxiety and stress due to not being able to earn enough money for everyone. Additionally, it must be the responsibility of government to take care of them as they have worked considerable amount of time before, which means the government will be able to pay them pension. As a result, it will be unfair for young generation making them look after elderly people as they already have enough money that can cover their basic costs. However, it is moral responsibility of young people to support elderly because they have been supporting their children before, teaching them everything they need and also working for them, so they could grow up being a useful individual for society. For example, in Uzbekistan, when people retire and get old enough to feed themselves, their children always cover their costs and satisfy their needs thanks for the cultural and religious lessons they have learnt. Another benefit that can further reinforce the former is strengthening family bonding. When young people are showing respect towards their parents and provide assistance for them, it teaches a great lesson for younger generation, improving the family bonding and become kinder towards people who are older than them. As a result, it will help families to spend more time together in peace and fun being an example for other people. In conclusion, although there are several problems supervising old people when they are unable to look after themselves, I believe it is morally unfair to just ignore them and leave it to the authorities.

  • Some people believe that studying at university or college is the best route to a successful career, while others think that it is better to get a job straight after school. Discuss both views and give your opinion Some believe that if people get a higher education, there is a bigger chance of career opportunities, while others believe people should find a job right after graduating from school. I think finding a job after school might bring benefits—real-life practice and getting more experience—but it cannot outweigh the benefits of getting a job after graduating school. University education always teaches people how to handle certain problems, giving real-life experiences and theories, so students can learn more insights before starting a job. As a result, undergraduates will be ready to get a job without any training thanks to their university education. Additionally, some universities do not just rely on lectures and theories but also give students a chance to put their theory into practice so they can learn more from it. For example, in Uzbekistan, many universities that specialize in training teachers send their students to the local schools to make them learn from other teachers and give them a chance to be a teacher. This will help students to learn what kind of responsibility and hard work is expected from them before working as a professional. Another benefit that can further reinforce the former is collaboration of jobs with universities. These days, many jobs make an agreement with universities to get more workers, so the students will be able to get a job straight after graduating college. Moreover, some students who win scholarships must work in an organization that is in their own specialty for 3 or 4 years. As a result, students will not waste time searching for the job or struggle with preparation for the job interviews. However, there might be some benefits of working after finishing school. The chief among them is real-life experience; students will get a chance to train themselves in a real-life-based way without any theories or lectures, so they will save their time and move right into practicing their skills and developing them. Another advantage is getting more experience. Until students who are studying at university graduate, those who started their jobs earlier will get more experience, resulting in more companies being interested in them, as they have more skills and experiences that make them outshine others. In conclusion, although the benefits of starting a job have their perks, such as real-life practice and being able to get more experience than others, I believe finding a job after graduating university is better because students will be fully prepared, and they will not spend time searching for jobs.

  • Is breakfast important?

  • Do you think science is important to our society?

  • Do you like science? Yeah, I do. I actually really like science. Especially when it explains how the things work in the real life, but I would not say I am a science geek. you know I just like to learn it whenever I get the chance
