گلن هنسارد (Glen Hansard) زاده 21 آوریل 1970 خواننده، آهنگساز، گیتاریست و بازیگر ایرلندی گروه  The Frames و پروژه دو نفره فولک راک The Swell Season است. وی همچنین برای حرفه بازیگری نیز معروف است در فیلم Once که جایزه بهترین موسیقی آکادمی را دریافت کرده است؛ حضور داشته است. وی تا کنون دوبار نامزد دریافت جایزه گرمی شده است. او گروه خودش The Frames را در سال 1990 تشکیل داد که 7 آلبوم منتشر کرده اند و در ایرلند اجراهای منظمی دارد (اعضای گروه بجز هنسارد تغییرات زیادی داشته است) . با بازی در فیلم The Commitments ساخته آلن پارکر سال 1991 توجهات بین المللی را به خود جلب کرد. اولین آلبوم بدون The Frames را در سال 2006، The Swell Season با همکاری خواننده و نوازنده چندین ساز مارکتا اریگلوا (Markéta Irglová)، ماریا توکانن (Marja Tuhkanen) ویلونیست، برتراند گلن (Bertrand Galen) چلو منتشر کرد. در سال 2006 به همراه ایرگلوا در فیلم Once حضور داشت. بجز گروه و آلبوم های انفرادی در کارهای خیریه حضور داشته است و آهنگ هایی از باب دیلن، جاستین تیمبرلیک و بریتنی اسپیرز را نیز کاور کرده است. در تور آلبوم Eddie Vedder و سالگرد 20 سالگی Pearl Jam همکاری کرد. اثر Take the Heartland  را برای فیلم The Hunger Games ساخت. آلبوم انفرادی Rhythm and Repose را در سال 2015 منتشر کرد. @Ainulindale
