Theme: Connections This year, we are calling all youths aged 14-26 (inclusive). Hi everyone! Here are some answers to the FAQs we received: 🗣️ What do we do during our sessions? We organise different photowalks and photography workshops! Most of the time, we bring participants out of NUS to explore different locations, take photos, and learn more about photography techniques and theory. 🗣️ How often do we hold sessions? We usually hold around 1–2 events per month, but attendance is completely optional! There is no minimum commitment required for NUSPS — events are sign-up based, so you can simply join the photowalks or workshops that you’re available for. 🗣️ Do I need to own a camera? Nope! Cameras are not necessarily required for our events, and a phone is enough to participate. However, we do collaborate with brands that provide professional cameras for participants to try out during our workshops, on a first-come-first-served basis. 🗣️ Do I have to be a member to participate? Not at all! Non-members are welcome to join our events. Membership simply gives you priority when an event is oversubscribed, and some events may also be exclusive to members. 🗣️ Are beginners welcome? Absolutely! No prior photography experience is required to join NUSPS. Whether you’re completely new to photography or already have some experience, our events are beginner-friendly and a great way to learn, practise, and meet other people who enjoy photography!
