At this age, I no longer wish to fight for love, I seek a quiet place it fits like a glove. Not a battle to win, not a fire to chase,Just something gentle a resting place. I don’t want to fall, I don’t want to break,No losing myself for somebody’s sake. I want to stay, to softly remain, In love untouched by chaos or pain. No need for a spark that burns too bright,No reckless passion that fades overnight. My heart now whispers, steady and slow, “I want a peace that continues to grow.” This wandering soul that once lost its way, Now longs for a home where it can stay No endless roads, no need to roam, Just someone who feels like a quiet home. They say love is wild, it makes you lose control, But I want a love that steadies my soul. One that brings clarity, gentle and true, Where I don’t forget myself loving you. A love that won’t try to change who I am, That won’t rewrite me to fit its plan. Just someone whose presence feels so right, Like calm after storms, like dawn after night. And with you beside me, I don’t have to pretend, Don’t have to fix, don’t have to mend. Because in your love, so simple, so free I don’t have to hold myself… I can just be me
I see the world rush on ahead, with perfect maps and paths well-read, while I stand still, unsure, alone like I’ve missed roads I’ve never known. I hold my dreams like burning light, they glow within but stay out of sight, and time slips softly through my hands like I don’t move, just where I stand. But maybe I’ve been far too blind to all the strength I’ve left behind, the quiet wins, the unseen fight, the days I stayed, chose not to hide. Still, I don’t know where “more” begins, or how to grow into my skin, but maybe lost is not too late just life unfolding at its pace. So I’ll believe, though it feels slow, some hearts take time enough to grow and maybe I’m not left behind, just blooming in my own time. 🌙
We left the warmth of childhood’s shade, Where fragile dreams were softly made. But growing up we lost that cheer, And built our walls with pain and fear. Brick by brick our doubts appear, A silent cage we keep so near. Trapped inside what we designed, Prisoners of our restless mind. Help stands close, within our sight, A quiet hand, a guiding light. Yet pride convinces us we’re strong, That asking help would somehow be wrong. But strength was never meant to be A mask that hides our misery. For broken hearts still bravely speak, And vulnerability isn’t weak. Still we let our struggles stay, And slowly shape the words we say. Our problems carve the names we seek, While answers fade because we’re weak. It’s strange how pain becomes our voice, As if we never had a choice. We hold our wounds so tight, so deep, That hope becomes too far to keep. But maybe strength begins right here— Beyond the pride, beyond the fear. The moment when we choose to see That healing starts with honesty.
When people say, “You look like your mother—do you want to be like her?” they speak casually, unaware that the question slices through me, reopening wounds that never truly closed. I love my mother deeply, but loving her does not mean wanting to live her life. I have seen the price she paid to survive—the dreams she buried without ceremony, the years she gave to people who never learned how to value her, the endless exhaustion that settled into her body, the silent battles she fought with no witness and no relief. I have seen how she learned to swallow her tears, how pain became routine, how suffering was mistaken for strength. Her life stands as proof of resilience, not as a path I wish to walk. Survival kept her standing, but it also kept her trapped. I want more for her than endurance; I want healing, rest, and freedom from the weight she has carried alone for so long. Yet her wounds cling to her like a second skin, a legacy of unhealed pain passed down through silence and sacrifice. And loving her means recognizing her strength while refusing to inherit her suffering—choosing to honor her by breaking the cycle, by writing a different ending where survival finally gives way to living.
Some people can never understand, The quiet joy of sitting alone, so unplanned. In the comfort of your own little space, With no chaos, just calm and grace. Eating what you like, at your own pace, Away from the world’s endless race. Far from the noise, the drama, the crowd, Living in silence, yet feeling so proud. This peace can’t be bought from any store, It blooms within, it’s something more. Not hurting anyone, not getting involved, Just your own life, quietly resolved. The greatest comfort life can give, Is learning peacefully how to live. No interference, no loud demand, Just inner joy — simple and grand.
Grief is quiet, but it changes all, A laugh, a breeze — then comes the fall. Not just a name we long to hear, But echoes of a love held dear. It's living life while standing still, A space that time can never fill. They were the peace in every storm, The voice that made the silence warm. They saw the soul behind your eyes, The one who stayed through lows and highs. Now days go on, the world moves fast, But some hearts stay locked in the past. You learn to smile, to breathe, to be, But still, you miss what used to be. For when they left, they took a part, That still beats softly in your heart.
I miss a girl she once was me, A soul so bright, wild hearted, free. She'd light up rooms with just her smile, And walk with love through every mile. She cheered for all, stood by their side, In every fall, in every stride. She found her joy in others' glee, But none looked close enough to see. Her laughter danced like morning dew, Her heart was pure, her friendships true. But no one saw the gold she gave, They took her light, and never stayed. Now look at her so still, so cold, A silent story left untold. She learned that warmth can burn you too, When hearts are fake, and love's untrue. So now she sits with quiet grace, No more the rush, no more the race. She saves her love, her tender art, For those who’ll value her soft heart. Not bitter just a little wise, She’s found her peace in tearless cries. And though the world may call it loss, She’s just reclaiming what it cost.
I wear my shawls like my nani I cook food the way my mother used to My ammi used to forget names while needing to call someone and so do I I peel my apple before I eat them because that’s how my nana does it I like the heart full conversations so does my father does I make my eyeliner like my khala I started painting because one of my frnd told me I can try my hands on it I make similar face to one my frnd make I watch movies differently because a frnd told me every scene could have an implied message We are somehow a little part of everyone we have met in our life We are made of complexes of people we love Even if they leave there are some pieces of them that are still inside us As a home a lesson or maybe a story worth Even if we don’t like to admit even if we are too rigid to be highlighted People love with us People live in us
I'm not depressed I'm not even sad all the time I laugh, I talk I show up But deep down I know something in me has changed Life took something from me maybe a piece of my spirit maybe a kind of innocence I don't know But it's gone And because of that I don't smile the way I used to Not with the same glow Not with the same warmth People think I'm okay because I look okay... but they don't see how heavy it gets inside It's not that I'm broken I'm just not the same anymore And I don't know if I'll ever be that version of me again
Days when I am not able to sleep. days when I am lost into something deep. A thought that is deep enough to take away my peace and smile. I tell myself I was so strong for a while. But I can't anymore. Can't someone just hold my hand and take me to the shore. Where I need noone except me. Where spending time will feel like a therapy. Away from all the fakeness. Where life will not be a mess. Where people won't tell me what to do and what to not. How to behave and when to applaud. Where my heart will be overflowing with happiness... People won't be players and life will not be a game of chess. I know some days are hard and some beautiful too. But don't you think number of happy days coming along are very few. Right now I think the only thing I can do is wait. For good things to happen and I wish they happen soon before it's too late
She is not just her body The body that you see She is not really the labels That never let her feel free She is not just the tears That she hides in the night She is not just the battles That she continues to fight She is not just her emotions That she finds hard to control She is not just her thoughts And her duties in every single role She is her dreams she wants to chase She is her laughter when her life isn't a mess She is the wisdom born from pain She is the strength to smile again and again She is the love that she always has She is the giving without seeking praise She is the voice buried deep in silence She is her truth and not her pretence She is all she wants to be She is the freedom, let her be free She is perseverance, she is grace She is everything you try to erase
No. I am not perfect I never claimed to be But you'll be forgiven for the assumption By just looking at me.That I'm a complete whole Put together so well That you can't even see The cracks in my shell You judge me by my whole And the sum of all my parts That have been glued together so many times You can't tell them apart There are beautiful parts and ugly parts I still dismantle with ease I can just fall apart With the whisper of a breeze But every single day My courage is put to the test And every single day I do my very best I rely on myself I stand alone I wear my crown proudly And I sit on my own throne I slay my own demons As I fight my deepest fears And over the years I've learnt To dry my own tears So to all of you who judge me For the way I live this life I choose Not one of you will last A single day in my shoes

If you had to introduce yourself to people What are the words that you would use? If you couldn't mention your job and education What are the defining moments that you would choose? Would you begin with the dreams on your eyelids Or the people whose lives you've touched Would you think about what makes you passionate Or talk about the fears that you've hushed Would you talk about the places you've been to Or the times you've made a house into a home Would you talk about the things that make you ponder Or the times you've been with people yet felt alone We use our precious time with people To talk about things that don't define who we are It's the incidents and people who aren't on our resumes That have brought us on this journey so far.
i was stunned on the answer my mother gave when i asked what did she wanted to become when she was a child. She had dreams, she had inspirations, she wasn't always a mother right? A whole human having her own life. And i asked her what do you want to do now? And she simply answered Bas tumlog khush rho. And for a moment i was scared of her, The power she held in that moment was unexplainable. A woman a whole human who had a life full with her own self doesn’t even count herself in now in her own life We're her main characters now. And i suddenly saw life with such anger and fear. It was so hypocritical that i didn't wanted to become like her for this particular thing "abandoned of my aspirations" And on this she answered me Allah tumhare naseeb acha kre.
😒 pinned «She's learning to live the ending no matter how tragic it is. She's learning to live with her flaws no matter how ugly they can be. Because all her life she was used to covering her scars, all her life she said things to make others happy even when sadness…»
He bought an iphone she bought a car. With this much salary how am I supposed to reach that far? Applying thousands of makeup products just to look good for a while. People forget that they will look best after wearing a genuine smile. How are your marks more than mine? You are so backward you don't even drink wine? We don't judge is all they say. All they do is pretend as if they are acting in a play. Will people ever be able to find what they are looking for? And after finding it will they ever want more?? And are they even sure about what they want? Or they just want to achieve random things so that they can flaunt? It in front of their friends, family and society. I never understand why people push themselves so hard ending up having anxiety. She achieved this he achieved that. Why only my career graph is so flat?
I have kindness in my heart, just rude in my tongue my soul is hundred years old, but on paper I am young I look at things a different way, I just feel too much at times I feel free like a bird, at times stuck in a clutch 🕊 I don't get jealous of people, I want them to win to shine ✨ I know my worth my dreams, I know that I will be just fine but toxic people hit my nerve, I hate these fake selfish liars🌚 they say the sweet things, and push you into thousand fires
Is it me or is there someone else living inside of me? Why can't I feel anything? Why does it feel like I'm killing something? Is that my soul, turned into a monster? Or my mind, playing tricks on me! There's a lot of emotion flowing, But not through tears... It's all just fear Rotting my skin crushing my bones chewing my teeth and leaving me alone Why does it feel like, I will have to pay... Maybe because there's a lot of bad karma I have picked up along my way. So, will really hurt forever till I die? Or will it just pass one day? Which one should I believe, there's a lot of noise in my head. Everybody says I zone out often, please tell which zone is correct? Because I feel like I am cancelled all the time, every line I say is a regret... I don't know, what else to say, my fingers are tired by writing this tale. Where I can't seem to like me, I can't seem to find a climax. So, let me drown, let me flow, let me hit something that's gonna crush me while I don't feel anything.
I see so many people fearful of Death but for some reason it doesn't scare me because I have seen myself taking last breaths the day I apologised to people who didn't deserve those apologies the day I prioritised people who were not worth it the day I restricted myself from choosing my own happiness the day I got happy watching people succeed who were dying to see me fail so badly the day I chose them over myself the day I allowed them to walk all over me the day I suffocated myself to keep everyone at peace the day I turned blind towards people's manipulations the day I turned mute towards their criticisms the day I thought less of myself and believed I didn't deserve any happiness the day I lost all the courage to fight back to raise my voice the day I finally surrendered I gave up on my dreams my aspirations my wings my existence my life to make "Them' feel seen, heard, understood With each passing day, I saw them killing me I saw myself dying Any person who has gone through this would understand that Death is not their enemy but a friend
