Yesterday evening, around 10 settlers stormed the village of Umm al-Khair with a herd of sheep, drove them into a Palestinian family’s vegetable garden, and let them feed on the crops. The settlers later went on a rampage, attacking Palestinian residents and solidarity activists and injuring a 17-year-old girl who was taken to hospital. Police and soldiers arrived but allowed the settlers to continue damaging the garden and roaming freely through the village.
