On 21 January 2026, the European Parliament formally acknowledged “Christianophobia” in its annual human rights resolution, drawing attention to the persecution of Christians and anti-Christian hatred both within Europe and around the world. The resolution noted that Christians continue to face discrimination. For years, the suffering of Christians has too often been overlooked.
