Over 70 shells struck the area in a single OVERNIGHT barrage. Defense Minister Katz has told the IDF to STAY for an extended period — a real sign, per analysts, that a wider operation is coming. The standoff is simple and unresolved: Hezbollah refuses to hand the area to the Lebanese Army without a full Israeli withdrawal. Israel refuses to withdraw first. Neither side is blinking.
