Both Americans and Israelis are facing a bitter reality: what was supposed to be a justice system has increasingly become a power-preservation system. Our judicial systems were hijacked years ago by progressive-left operatives within the deep state who are far more interested in preserving power than administering justice. The Bible warned us about times when the very institutions entrusted with justice would become places of injustice: “Moreover I saw under the sun: In the place of judgment, Wickedness was there; And in the place of righteousness, Iniquity was there.” Ecclesiastes 3:16 Isaiah describes what happens when truth and justice are pushed aside: “Justice is turned back, And righteousness stands afar off; For truth is fallen in the street, And equity cannot enter. So truth fails, And he who departs from evil makes himself a prey.” Isaiah 59:14-15 When justice becomes subordinate to power, truth becomes the enemy. There is nothing new under the sun. With elections approaching in both America and Israel, we have a moral responsibility to discern carefully, vote according to truth and conscience, and stand for what is right. The fact that evil surrounds us does not excuse us from doing good. We cannot accept injustice in silence simply because we have grown accustomed to it. Our responsibility is not determined by what everyone else is doing. Our responsibility is to remain faithful to what is right before God. “But as for you, brethren, do not grow weary in doing good.” 2 Thessalonians 3:13 And remember: “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” Galatians 6:9
