IDF: In Response to Hezbollah’s Action in the Security Zone Against IDF Soldiers: The IDF Eliminated a Senior Commander in the “Badder Unit” of the Hezbollah Terrorist Organization Yesterday (Saturday), the IDF struck in the Deir ez-Zahrania area and eliminated Abu Hassan Alaa, a senior commander in the “Badder Unit” of the Hezbollah terrorist organization. At the city’s university hospital, which was damaged in the earthquake, Home Front Command engineers are working alongside local professionals in a complex engineering effort to advise and guide the removal of rubble, with the aim of enabling the rescue of trapped individuals and restoring the damaged wing for use. At the same time, efforts have begun to map and assess buildings damaged in the earthquake, in cooperation with local authorities, with the aim of assisting in developing a situational assessment and determining priorities for continued response efforts. In addition, the delegation’s members are assisting local authorities in establishing a data management system to support the management of the situational assessment and decision-making. The Israeli delegation will continue operating on the ground and make Israeli knowledge, experience and capabilities available to the authorities in Colombia, with the aim of assisting as much as possible in saving lives and addressing the consequences of the earthquake. IDF: The Commander of the IDF Central Command, the Commander of the Judea and Samaria Division, and the Commander of the Judea and Samaria Border Police District toured the area of Qusra and the nearby outposts this morning and spoke with the Palestinian family residing there, who informed them that the house has electricity and water infrastructure. Near the house, in Area B where a closed military zone order was issued, a tent was erected where Israeli civilians were staying. Border Police forces evacuated the tent and are working to evacuate the civilians who were staying there. The incident is still ongoing, and security forces are currently at the scene. During the tour, the commanders expressed their grave concern over the actions carried out by Israeli civilians against the Palestinian family and instructed that several measures be taken moving forward. It was further decided that disciplinary action would be taken against the security personnel involved, who were documented at the site several days ago.
