The APA is the largest professional organization of psychologists in the United States, representing over 146,000 members. The "Land and Genocide Acknowledgment" presents deeply contested claims as established fact, denies the Jewish people's ancestral connection to Israel, and makes no mention of the October 7, 2023 Hamas massacre, the hostages, or the ongoing trauma experienced by Jews worldwide. The victim of today's terror attack near Havat Gilad, in the West Bank/Judea and Samaria, has been named - Bnayahu Malat, 32, a resident of Havat Gilad, member of the community's emergency response team, and the farm's agriculture manager. When a group of hikers in the area came under terrorist attack, Bnayahu rushed to help. While carrying out the rescue, he was shot and murdered by the Palestinian terrorists. Bnayahu leaves behind his wife Esther and two daughters, aged 12 and 13. May his memory be a blessing. 🕯️🇮🇱

UPDATE: A Jewish man was stabbed with a screwdriver by an attacker allegedly shouting “Allahu Akbar” on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. A second victim, an Asian man, was also stabbed in a separate attack. Both are in stable condition. Police arrested 51-year-old Raul Morales at the scene and are investigating whether the attack was an antisemitic hate crime.
