住完 5 年先發現永唔到居 // FF（化名）當年在香港因參與 2019 年社會運動而被判處 12 個月緩刑，沒有實際入獄。她其後以 LOTR（Leave Outside the Rules）身份來到英國，之後申請 BN(O) 簽證時亦如實申報刑事紀錄，申請約 3 個月後獲批。 FF 目前就快符合資格申請英國永久居留權（Indefinite Leave to Remain），但隨着內政部今年 3 月更新刑事審查指引，她向《棱角》表示，擔心當年並未影響 BN(O) 申請的 12 個月緩刑，會否在日後申請永居時成為障礙。 FF 表示，她早於 3 月底已留意到內政部更新刑事審查指引，惟當時仍抱有「僥倖心態」，因過往接觸過其他「手足」申請 BN(O) 簽證時，得知內政部對涉及刑事紀錄的個案，會按個別情況及申請人的解釋作個別考慮。 她說，過往有刑事紀錄的申請人，仍有機會透過解釋個案背景而獲批，因此原本認為自己的情況亦可作相同處理，惟今年 3 月 26 日刑事審查指引更新後，她得知更多「手足」因刑事紀錄而被拒絕申請的消息，令她開始擔心新規對自己的影響。 FF 坦言，近期接觸到的個案令她感覺情況已經改變，「就算解釋了都沒有用」，令她不敢再以過往經驗推斷自己的申請結果。 至於返回香港，她表示自己亦曾考慮過，但認為「不是一個選項」。如日後無法以現有途徑繼續留在英國，她亦曾考慮尋求政治庇護，惟擔心這會影響原本的永居及入籍計劃，取得永久身份及護照所需時間可能大幅延長。「如果真的要尋求政治庇護，可能無窮無盡地等，永遠都拿不到護照。」

被香港警方懸紅通緝的劉祖廸（Finn Lau）向《棱角》表示，他在英國金融服務公司 Wise 的個人及商業戶口本月 3 日突然被停用（deactivate），包括他創辦的獨立媒體《棱角》的主要營運戶口。他表示，由於《棱角》、其個人戶口及另一間公司的戶口互有關聯，最終 3 個戶口一併受到影響。
