Difficulty level of RBI Grade B (DR) General Phase 1- PY 2026

All the best for tomorrow! 2hrs will be crucial but these 2hrs do not define your capability, it only highlights your preparedness.

Last few days to Phase 1! Don’t read anything new at this time, dedicate more time for revision. Revisit mistakes committed in the mock tests. Watch Marathon videos. In case, any specific section is causing trouble and you are not able to score enough, this is the last chance. You can watch Marathon videos of those specific sections and learn 4-5 variety of questions. This will definitely help as these Marathon videos teach a lot of shortcuts. Don’t watch entire video as you don’t have time for that. You can go for Vishnu Sir’s videos (Quant and LR) from Edutap in Youtube. That is among the best in the industry.

Phase 2- FM- In addendum to the previous articles- Very Important

The biggest problem while attempting GA is “Patience”. Candidates often lose out on reaching 40 questions. Ye avoid karna hai. You should be patient and complete questions in which you hold a fair idea. Even if you know 30% of it, don’t leave the question, try to eliminate options and mark answer. Most of you will agree with me, statement based questions are better because probability of marking a right answer is high when compared to one liners. I call one liners as 25% probability questions, attempt these questions only if you are sure or 80% sure. Statement based questions sometimes have very illogical statement(s). You need to find out these statements and eliminate the options and find the correct answer. But remember you have only 25 mins for 80 questions, you can’t manage to re-read the statements, it is gonna kill your time. Hence, if you have not prepared well, but still want to clear GA sectional cut off, this strategy might help. Don’t feel sorry if you have to leave 10 questions in the starting as easy questions might be waiting at the second half.
