7: Remember your 'Why' Whenever motivation drops, ask yourself: Why did I choose this journey? A clear purpose won't remove difficult days. But it gives you a reason to keep moving through them. #winningthemindgame
Good morning everyone, We will begin the workshop at 10AM today. Hurry up and join. It is going to be insightful yet fun 😊 see you all soon! Sonali.
🌻
6. You might be suffering more in your mind than in reality - Seneca Two aspirants get the same mock score. One thinks: "This is feedback." The other thinks: "My dream is over." Same score. Different perceptions. Different emotions. #winningthemindgame
Happy Independence Day everyone 🇮🇳 I wish you all are able to give yourself a freedom form perfection!
5. Make room for uncomfortable emotions Feeling anxious before a mock test? That's normal. You don't have to get rid of anxiety before studying. Sometimes the goal isn't to feel better first. It's to study while feeling anxious. #winningthemindgame@rebtwithsonali
Gentle reminder to enroll for the upcoming workshop of 16th August. 🌻

4. Stop demanding perfection "I must study 12 hours every day." Really? A healthier belief is: "I'd like to study well today, but if I don't, I can learn and improve tomorrow." Progress beats perfection. #winningthemindgame
3: Carry your fear, don't wait for it to disappear Many aspirants think: "I'll start when I feel confident." Psychology says: Confidence often comes after action, not before it. Take the next step—even if fear comes along. #winningthemindgame@rebtwithsonali
2: Focus on what you can control You can't control: ❌ UPSC cut-offs ❌ Other aspirants ❌ The difficulty of the paper You can control: ✅ Today's study session ✅ Your revision ✅ Your next answer Small actions, repeated daily, build success. #winningthemindgame
You study every day. But are you actually getting better at handling UPSC? Self-doubt. Overthinking. Comparison. Losing consistency after a bad day. These can quietly affect your preparation more than you realise. Winning The Mind Game is a FREE two-part workshop designed to help you understand the psychology behind your preparation and build the mindset to stay steady throughout the journey. 🧠 Part 1 - 16 August | 10 AM – 1 PM | Offline With Sonali Ma'am UPSC Mindset Coach | M.A. Counselling Psychology 📍 LevelUp IAS, Karol Bagh Centre Register For Part 1: https://shorturl.at/ubGhU Seats are limited. Register now.
2: Thoughts are not facts 🧠 Your mind says: "I failed one mock. I'll never clear UPSC." Is it a fact? Or is it just a thought? REBT teaches us that our thoughts are not always true. Before believing them, ask: "What evidence do I have?" Challenge the thought before it challenges you. #winningthemindgame
We are starting the movie in 5 minutes, hurry up!
1. Be aware of your thoughts. Your mind is going to think. All the time. Sometimes one thought. Sometimes ten at once. But here's the important part: You don't have to engage with every thought you have. Today, try this: Notice the thought. Name it: "I'm having this thought." Don't argue with it. Don't follow it. Simply let it pass. ☁️ Then gently bring your attention back to what you're doing. Observe. Don't engage. #winningthemindgame@rebtwithsonali
A small series on mental toughness from today!
We have spoken about Kaira, Ved, Jordan, Avni and Veronica. Different characters. Different stories. Yet each one reminds us that our biggest battles often happen inside our own minds. The same is true for the UPSC journey. 🎬 Join us for Movies for Mental Health—an evening where we'll watch a carefully chosen film and explore the psychology behind it.We'll discuss emotions, resilience, self-doubt, and the mindset that helps you perform under pressure. No lectures. Just stories, insights, and meaningful conversations. 📍 9 August | 5:30 PM LevelUp IAS, Karol Bagh #moviescreening@rebtwithsonali
5. VERONICA – Cocktail "If I keep smiling and staying busy, maybe the pain won't catch up to me." Being productive isn't always the same as being emotionally okay. It's okay to pause, acknowledge difficult emotions, and then return to your preparation with greater clarity. Strong aspirants don't avoid emotions—they learn to work with them. Reflection: When was the last time you honestly checked in with yourself instead of just checking off your to-do list?
4. JORDAN – Rockstar "If I let go of the pain, what part of me do I have left?" Sometimes we hold on to failures, regrets, or heartbreak because they've become part of our identity. Healing doesn't erase your experiences—it simply stops them from controlling your future. Reflection: Which past event are you still carrying into today's preparation?
