Because violence has evolved—and today, it exists both offline and behind screens. Through advocacy, awareness, and solidarity, SCORA reaffirmed its commitment to safer digital spaces, respect, accountability, and dignity for all. Today, our SCORA AA team successfully completed the second phase of our Pad Distribution Project at the One-Stop Center, Gandhi Memorial Hospital. We delivered the collected sanitary pads, purchased pad packs, and donated clothes to support survivors of sexual violence who receive psychological, medical, and legal services at the center. The One-Stop Center plays a vital role in caring for girls and boys affected by sexual abuse, and they are continuously in need of pads, clothes, and detergents. By sharing this, we aim to raise awareness and encourage others to support their essential work. This activity is proudly part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed, all student donors, and Dr. Ismail, the coordinator of the One-Stop Center at Gandhi branch, for welcoming us and guiding the visit. 🎉We had the incredible opportunity to visit Meserete Edget Primary and Middle School, we donated sanitary pads and gave trainings on menstrual hygiene, breast cancer assessment, and on how to overcome negative beliefs regarding menstral hygiene. ✨ Heartfelt appreciation goes to:✨ 💥Everyone who donated money to make this project a reality. 💥Those who contributed pads 💥The dedicated volunteers who helped collect, organize, and deliver the donations. Today, our SCORA-AA team carried out another successful SRH workshop — this time at Addis Ketema General Secondary School — focusing on Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs). The session aimed to raise awareness, clear misconceptions, and create a comfortable space for students to learn and ask questions about their health. Every bit of knowledge shared today contributes to a healthier and more informed generation.
