Don't let other people disturb your mind. People can be selfish, rude, ignorant, dishonest, or unfair. Remind yourself not to become like them. You can recognize someone's behavior as wrong without allowing it to poison your own character.
Control what you can control. You can't control other people, the past, circumstances, or what happens to you. You can control your judgments, choices, actions, and attitude. Much of suffering comes from demanding that reality be different from what it's.
Stop trying to prove yourself right. Focus on your self-development, your awareness, your discipline, and your inner peace. The goal isn’t to defeat others in arguments, but to evolve beyond who you were yesterday. Raise your consciousness.

Be okay with being disliked. Most people judge others from the wounds they haven’t healed within themselves.
The past exists only as memory, and the future only as imagination. The only reality you ever truly encounter is this moment. So live here. Not yesterday, not tomorrow, but Now. Life is not waiting for you somewhere ahead... its happening already.
One of the loneliest truths about growing up is realizing that no one can ever fully know who you’ve been. The people who knew you at fourteen knew a version of you that no longer exists. The people who know you now arrived somewhere in the middle of your story. They know who you became, but not everything you had to become. You carry entire chapters of your life that no one else witnessed... the losses, dreams, disappointments, and versions of yourself you had to leave behind. And yet, they all remain within you. A song, a photograph, a familiar smell can suddenly bring an old version of you back for a moment. The world sees the same face, but inside, you have traveled through years. Maybe loneliness is realizing that some parts of your existence can never be completely understood by another person. And perhaps maturity is accepting that. You are an unfolding story... not only to others, but even to yourself. You were never meant to remain the same person. You were meant to keep becoming someone you have never been before.
Ego death is the end of illusion, not the end of you. Only when the ego dies can truth finally be seen.

Most people don't suffer because reality is painful. They suffer because reality refuses to match the story their ego has created. The question is not, "Who are you?" The question is, "What remains when every illusion you call 'me' falls away?" Truth doesn't comfort you. It transforms you.
You become like the people you spend the most time with. Their habits, beliefs, attitudes, and mindset slowly shape your own, often without you realizing it. That's why it's so important to protect your peace and guard your mindset. Surround yourself with people who inspire you, encourage you, and help you grow. If you're constantly surrounded by negativity, criticism, or limiting beliefs, those patterns can become your own. This doesn't mean you have to hate or reject anyone. Respect people for who they are. Love them as they are. But don't allow their negativity to define your life. Protect your energy, protect your mind, and stay true to the person you're striving to become. The quality of your life is deeply influenced by the quality of the people you choose to keep close. Choose wisely!

“The world is not what we see, it’s the way we see..” — Rupert Spira All that you can ever experience happens through the “window” of your five senses... Seeing, hearing, touching, smelling, and tasting. These five senses provide human beings with our particular version of the world. However, have you considered that other realities might exist outside of these five senses? In other words, that we don’t see the world as it's, but only a partial version of it, that which our five senses give us access to. And it might well be that we co-exist with other realities simultaneously, but simply don’t have the “sense” to tune into them.
"One must be deeply aware of the impermanence of the world" – Dogen.
You never awaken into the universe. You awaken as it. The boundary between you and reality was only an idea. There is no separate self looking at existence. Existence is looking at itself through your eyes.
Awakening isn't about becoming someone new. It's about returning to who you truly are. When you awaken, you're fully present with yourself. Your happiness no longer depends on other people's opinions, praise, or criticism. You stop fighting life and begin to experience it with clarity and peace. Love is no longer something you chase... it becomes your natural state. You see beauty in simple things, and you respond to the world with understanding instead of fear. An awakened person is not free from challenges, but they're no longer controlled by them. They realize that peace comes from within, not from circumstances. Awakening is remembering that beneath all the noise, all the labels, and all the distractions, you've always been whole.
Trusting yourself is a serious possibility.
Don't waste your life defending your ego. Question it. Most of who you think you're was shaped by society. Strip away the labels, the need for approval, and the fear of judgment. Be honest enough to see yourself as you are. That's where true freedom begins.
Being alone has a way of stripping away every distraction until one truth remains... All you truly have is yourself. No applause. No validation. No one coming to save you. At first, that realization can feel lonely. But if you stay with it long enough, it becomes liberating. Because the greatest investment you will ever make isn’t in other people... it's in mastering yourself. Self-mastery is learning to govern your thoughts instead of being ruled by them. It's choosing discipline over impulse, purpose over comfort, and growth over excuses. When you master yourself, solitude stops feeling like isolation. It becomes your training ground. The strongest foundation you can build is not dependence on the world around you, but command over the world within you. In the end, the relationship you have with yourself is the one you will carry through every season of life. Master yourself, and you will never truly be alone.
"True knowledge exists in knowing that you know nothing" — Socrates. True wisdom begins with intellectual humility. When we admit that we do not have all the answers, we remain open to new information and growth. Arrogance closes the mind, but the recognition of ignorance is the first step toward genuine discovery. A wise person is a lifelong student who understands that the universe is vast and knowledge is truly infinite.
