Although my family struggled financially, I spent my weekends leading youth activities, helping children read, play, sing, and learn in my village. Unexpectedly, my commitment to serving others caught the attention of generous donors. They believed in my potential and sponsored my education, enabling me to continue my studies from a rural village to earning a master’s degree. Before we parted, one donor told me, “I don’t want you to repay me. Just continue my mission by giving back to your community.” Today, I strive to honor that promise by serving others whenever I can. I have helped organize charitable activities supporting more than 160 students at Coconut School, over 200 children through community programs, and around 30 children with disabilities at the Missionary of Charity Brothers. My story is proof that kindness creates a ripple effect. A single opportunity changed my life—not so I could keep it for myself, but so I could become a source of hope for others.
