Shades of Teacher

No matter how much intellect denies, fame takes over everything. And for fame, you need to connect - connect with what? Minds! What kind of minds? Majority of minds! Rest you know everything.

It's not necessary that you explain everything to everyone in the moment. Some explanations will go wasted because the receipient is in a different kind of intoxicity. When we are too young we jump into explaining each and everything instantaneously which no one listens to but people who think in long term wait with patience. Sometimes they wait for 2 years, sometimes 5 years and sometimes a decade passes. In my life my personal experience regarding this has never been wrong. After some years everything becomes clear to everyone without any explanation from your side. And in this intervening period you have to do only two things - keep doing your work & second stay true to yourself. Otherwise you will give up. Alignment of belief & truth will keep you unshaken in difficult times. Times change like seasons. Life is never upside or downside. I hope at least some of you must have understood already why I did a few things a few years back. I did not have to wait for a very long time in this case because trajectory and understanding was very cliche - it was childish & cringe. At the end I just want to tell you one thing - be yourself and never lose yourself running for short term gains. Prestige, truth, respect, reputation - these things are most important when you see life in decades & quarters. But yes for some material gains are most important not self respect. No matter what people think of them, they find solace in material gains. The point is what do we want from life. If we get what we want - everything is sorted. Happiness with own self is the biggest happiness.

How many kukri stabs you gonna take before taking that sword out? How many games your shadow gonna lose before letting that monster out? You forged one and you fed one - let them out once!

If every grain in a rice bag starts asking for its own separate recognition, the rice bag will lose its identity. A single grain is too small to demand an independent existence, especially when the purpose is shared and enduring. No one is above the system. Being in the moment is meditation. That moment doesn’t have to arrive in a yogic posture. Doing what you love, while being fully present — that’s a deeper meditation than planning one. It can be your motorcycle ride, a long walk, a hobby you deeply love or even work you love. Anything which erases past and future from your mind — because past is regret and future is anxiety while present is the only moment we live in.

Daniel Kahneman was an Israeli-American psychologist best known for his work on the psychology of judgment and decision-making as well as behavioral economics, for which he was awarded the 2002 Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences together with Vernon L. Smith. I read his book Thinking, Fast and Slow & found it very very useful for understanding our beavior from two angles - both of which are useful but the first one is often used by marketing agencies and manipulators. Here, I have attached summary of these two thinking systems I found on Google. If you have not read the book, please devote 5 minutes to read the image summary. It's helpful in dealing with manipulation techniques and not getting swayed away by emotional brainwashing.
