23 дек.🔬🎄 A microscopic Christmas tree, created by Jamie Whitelaw 🎄🔬 This festive “tree” is built from fluorescence images of NckAP1 knockout mouse embryonic fibroblasts (MEFs) stained with Phalloidin (actin, green), DAPI (nuclei, magenta), and Vinculin (red). The images were artistically processed to form a Christmas tree composition, where actin defines the tree shape, DAPI becomes the baubles, and Vinculin serves as the Christmas lights. 🏆 Award: Winner, Scottish Microscopy Society (2022) Christmas Cracker Image Competition 📸 Image credit: Jamie Whitelaw0,54%
