You have to wonder whether Minister Lisa Nandy quitting X is part of the groundwork for further attacks on the platform - and on online speech more broadly. It's also worth noting that Nandy's Department for Culture, Media and Sport department has been expanded under Burnham. It now includes responsibility for digital identity, as well as "misinformation," "disinformation," and "online safety." What could possibly go wrong?
