USDCAD SELL TRADE REVIEW I was waiting for this trade for around 1 month. This is the power of swing and position trading where you can anticipate multiple setups simultaneously while trading other pairs that are more favorable. When you are waiting for the perfect A+ trade and can see it happening before it’s actually happened you know you have arrived. USDCAD traded up into it’s Monthly FVG and respected it as you can see from it’s June month candle. This is where I hunted for Daily FVGs to short. We let the Daily FVG present itself within July. This provided ample opportunity to get in the trade position. There was also another opportunity to enter short on it’s 2nd FVG (you can see in the picture) which could have been entered on it’s own for extra confirmation of the direction or pyramided with a smaller position to make more profit on the move. The reaction from these key levels provides ample evidence that the direction was correct. From that I mean clean price action respecting key levels and a willingness to move from these areas as well as a lack of consolidation after entering the trade. This is what an A+ setup looks like. NASDAQ UPDATE This is still valid but we've been consolidating all week. I am still bullish. Still not expecting too much from August though. Expecting major bull market to continue come September.
