Alhamdulillaah our Summer Campers will be showcasing their work and presenting their research projects to students of knowledge and general audience in shaa Allaah this Saturday. As we move towards delivering accredited courses and recognising their achievements we are pleased to see the enthusiasm and determination of our campers to get their awards. Alhamdulillaah. Second week highlights at the Nurture Islaam Kids Summer camp was all about reading and learning benefits from the biographies of the young Sahaabah. They learn how to create biographies on canva. They did a marvelous job. Alhamdulillaah. They also completed tracing a pattern using relief paste for their glass painting master piece. And they explored a more complex cross stitch design. A wonderful week of beneficial and fun learning with lots of creativity. .

Usually when I post a companion quiz I get a lot of answers via PM/DM, but this time I got the answers only from my summer campers who are just under 10. Alhamdulillaah. Alhamdulillaah! Our Nurture Islaam Kids' and Boys' Summer Camps have completed an amazing first week filled with beneficial knowledge, practical skills, and lots of fun. Our girls and boys were a joy to teach. They enthusiastically participated in the lessons as they learnt about how Islaam spread into North Africa and were introduced to the inspiring lives of the Seven Abdullaahs (radiyallaahu anhum). They also explored beautiful Islamic geometric designs in preparation for their glass painting project and did an excellent job learning the basics of cross-stitch. Just look at how neat and impressive their work is—maa shaa Allaah! Our teen boys thoroughly enjoyed spending time with Ustadh Abu Afnan through engaging lessons, discussions, and mentorship. They explored the life of the author, studied the introduction to Al-Qawaaid al-Arba', completed writing activities, learnt the Muqaddimah. They also learnt why Tawheed is the foundation of our religion and how correct belief shapes our lives. As part of their research project, they were introduced to the principles of authentic Islamic research before selecting their own research topics and formulating their research questions. Just two or three classes a week, yet look at the amount of knowledge and skills they have gained in just one week. Alhamdulillaah! If your children were not part of our camps this year, these are just some of the wonderful learning experiences they have missed. We hope to welcome them next year, in shaa Allaah. Week 2 begins this Monday, and we can't wait to see what our students will discover next! Nurture Islaam Boys Summer Camp for ages 16 - 19+ begins on Monday In shaa Allaah. The boys will explore the Muqaddimah of Ibn Abi Zayd a treatise written for the youth.
