This Sunday, on August 23 at 9:30am, you will have a chance to experience the Family Healing that these two families experienced. Invite your family members and relatives, and believe God is still capable to restore families through Jesus Christ.

“Then he fell on his brother Benjamin’s neck and wept, and Benjamin wept on his neck. Moreover, he kissed all his brothers and wept over them, and after that his brothers talked with him.” Genesis 45:14-15 (NKJV)

2. Joseph and his brothers – Jacob, the father, loved Joseph best and gave him a special coat of many colours. This made his older brothers very jealous. Then, they sold him as a slave and lied to their father saying he had been killed by a ferocious animal. There was much grief in heart of Jacob. But after 22 years, Joseph forgave his brothers and the family was restored again.

“But Esau ran to meet him, and embraced him, and fell on his neck and kissed him, and they wept.” Genesis 33:4 (NKJV)

1. Jacob and Esau – Esau hated Jacob for having received the Abrahamic Blessing ahead of him and planned to kill his twin brother Jacob (Genesis 27:41). But God healed that broken relationship, and they met each other after 20 years in good terms.

The Family Healing is a Journey of Forgiveness and Restoration of Trust, Love and Reciprocity. In the Bible we find many examples, and we can highlight two of them:

Good morning everyone “Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh, that they may walk in My statutes and keep My judgments and do them; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God.” Ezekiel 11:19-20 To enter Heaven we have to be born again. This new birth is spiritual, dying to sin everyday and receiving a new life in Jesus. This happens when a person repent of their sins and believe in Jesus as their savior. The new birth is a new opportunity. Jesus has already paid for all the sins! Now we can live a different life, free of sin, with the help of Jesus. In this new life we have the promise of eternal life, with God! God bless🙏🏼
