This is an opportunity to appreciate a habitat that hosts species of high conservation significance, including the endangered Straw-headed Bulbul and Sunda Pangolin. 🦔🐦 (which you probably have an extremely slim chance of encountering on this walk) 🥾 Heads up: The terrain can be flooded and muddy, so please dress appropriately! 🌊 Offshore Intertidal Exploration – This Weekend! The tides are lining up for two of the best mornings to explore one of Singapore’s richest intertidal habitats. If you’ve always wanted to experience the incredible marine life that appears for just a few hours each month, this is your chance! 📅 1 August (Sat) | 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM 📅 2 August (Sun) | 6:30 AM – 10:30 AM Our offshore reefs are home to a crazy diversity of marine life. Every trip is very different, but some of our recent encounters have included: ✨ Broadclub Cuttlefish ✨ Bobtail Squid ✨ Reef Octopus ✨ Blue-spotted Fantail Rays ✨ Estuarine Seahorses ✨ Tiger-tailed Seahorses ✨ Sea Stars (different sp.) ✨ Giant Reef/Bobbit Worms ✨ Sea Hares, nudibranchs and colourful flatworms ✨ Reef crabs, shrimps and countless other hidden reef creatures (different sp.) ✨ Blacktip Reef Sharks! Just a short boat ride from mainland Singapore sits a completely different side of our shores! Join us on an intertidal adventure to Pulau Hantu, where the receding tide reveals coral rubble, seagrass patches and all sorts of marine critters hiding in plain sight. And if we're lucky - sea stars, reef crabs, nudibranchs, octopuses and plenty of other odd surprises along the way.
