Whatever the exam, you’ve done your part well. That’s it. You may feel: “I did less, not enough.” Or “I did a lot, but still didn’t get good results.” Or even: “I did my best, I was expecting something better.” Listen But whatever the outcome is good or bad it is part of the process. Accept it. Just be kind to yourself. Give yourself some space. Listen you all worked hard to become civil servants, right? So be a civil servant now, whatever job you are getting whether it’s civil service or anything else. It’s a mindset, guys. I know it’s easy to say. Sometimes, we also need to be practical enough. You are more than any examination guys. Remember it.
Mental health is actually simple. You just need to understand one thing your mind and body are connected. If you walk for 30 minutes, your stress will reduce and your energy will increase. Your ability to take action will improve. Your mind follows your body. Next breathing. Spend a few minutes daily doing slow deep breathing. It will calm your mind. It can improve your state Next food. Eat properly. A good diet helps your gut, and your gut affects your brain. And it can improve your state Next how you speak. Even if you feel low, speak with a little energy. It will change your state. Why is this important? Why should you manage your state ? Because when your state is right, you can do anything. So always try to stay in a good state. #CSE’26
Regarding mental health, It is actually simple to be in a peak state but you must understand the basic mind-body connection. If you walk for 30 minutes, it can significantly boost your energy and reduce stress hormones like cortisol. Your ability to take action will increase. Your mind follows your body this is the fastest way to reach a peak state. Next is your breathing. Spend a few minutes every day on deep inhaling and exhaling it can instantly improve your state. Then comes proper diet. A good diet supports your gut, and your gut directly influences your brain. Also, the way you speak matters. Even if you feel tense, speak with a bit of energy and passion it can elevate your state. Why should you manage your state? Because in the right state, you can do almost anything you want. At any cost, stay in a peak state. #CSE2026
This is the time for revision. Again this is the time for revision. Again this is the time for revision. This is the time to deeply analyze PYQs and ensure your test series aligns with them ignore the rest. Again focus only on PYQs and aligned test series. Again ignore the noise. This is the time for exercise. This is the time for good food and proper sleep. And most importantly this is the time to remind yourself again and again: You are bigger than the UPSC exam. #CSE2026

Those who are going through self-doubt, anxiety, or depression - first accept your feelings. It is completely normal at this stage of preparation. During such times, don’t blindly follow your mind. The mind tends to create negative loops. Instead, take action first. Go out, exercise, walk, run - anything that helps you recover and reset your energy. Just do it. Believe me, physical movement improves your energy, reduces stress, and helps your mind calm down. The mind cannot always differentiate between what you vividly imagine and what is real. So train your imagination to work for you, not against you. Do something for someone every day, even a small act like a smile or kind words. This strengthens your emotional and spiritual strength and builds a sense of contribution. Now coming to UPSC actions - plan everything clearly: Prelims, Mains, basic books, revision, and test series PYQ. Take small actions one at a time and measure your progress. Progress is power. Take action every day in all four areas- physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. That balance will take you forward.
