Dear friends, At a time when the UPSC results are out and the conversation everywhere is about success and ranks, I want to share a different story. One of my dear students, *Vishal, an IITian and a serious UPSC aspirant*, went through years of preparation and the emotional ups and downs that come with it. At a point when confidence could have easily collapsed, he chose something courageous. He picked up the pen. What started as thoughts, reflections and ideas slowly turned into a science-fiction book—a collection of bold and unusual questions about the world we live in. This was never a “planned project.” It was an act of courage. Today, that courage has become his first published book. And it is truly my honour that he asked me to write the foreword for it. I am sharing this with all my students and friends to remind everyone of one simple truth: Life is bigger than one exam. UPSC is a journey—but it is not the limit of your potential.
