The world sees God and wisdom on opposite ends of the spectrum. If the Canadian /American educational system thought God had anything to do with intelligence or knowledge, then the Bible and prayer would not have been removed from schools. When reading or studying the Scripture, it is vital to notice repetition. God is a fan of using repetition in His teaching, especially when He is trying to make a point. In 1 Corinthians 1:18-27, God uses the words “foolish” or “foolishness” six times in the ten verses. God is trying to make a point. People who talk “vibrations” are invoking the law of attraction. The idea is that achieving the right frequency - through speech or meditation or other - will result in the “universe” returning those frequencies. Thoughts: 1. No need for God if you can “achieve” whatever frequency you prefer 2. Transactional nature of “I put this frequency in to get this frequency out” is trending idolatry 3. It’s a lie. It’s not true. 4. When we compare today’s “prophets” with biblical prophets, we can see they are vastly different. Biblical prophets called people to repent and turn back to God. The modern day prophets are more like psychics who are stroking people’s egos. And if you say in your heart, ‘How may we know the word that the Lord has not spoken?’when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word that the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously. If your main goal in life is to be liked, start a stand and sell ice cream. If your main goal in life is to pursue the truth, then you will inevitably end up with those who won't like you. The truth will cause you to be mocked, laughed at, and even hated. Pursue the truth anyway. Proclaim the truth anyway. The truth, while it will divide you from those who reject it, will also unite you with those who accept it. No one enjoys being hated, but be bold in knowing the truth will set you free, unite you with like minded people, and outlast every hateful comment or attitude. Billy Graham did a famous New York campaign where he teamed up with famous Christian Pastor Norman Vincent Peale. Most people applauded this show of “unity”, but there was a remnant that did not. Peale was a practitioner of Mystery Religion, Freemason, and false teacher. (He was comprable to Joel Osteen.) His book “The Power of Positive Thinking” is equivalent to the “Law of Attraction”, which is the Occult. Ministry is more than just preaching the gospel. It’s cruel to have babies, only to immediately throw them to the wolves. The babies must be protected, fed, and cared for by doctrinally sound local Churches. Doctrine Matters. God gave Adam and Eve everything, but they wanted more. Before the flood, things grew worse. Everything mankind "thought or imagined was consistently and totally evil" (Genesis 6:5). When God chose Israel, they repeatedly ignored His warnings, no matter how much He blessed them. Even Paul said, “I want to do what is good, but I don't. If you’ve let God down, honestly confess your sin. Then start fresh today and give Him your best!

The Church of Laodicea was Distracted His letter to the church of Laodicea, Jesus warns us about the danger of self-sufficiency. Laodicea was a wealthy banking center and proud of her rich resources. In AD 60, the city was destroyed by an earthquake Laodicea is one of seven first-century churches Jesus addressed in the book of Revelation. It is also the only church of the group which receives no praise from our Lord, only rebuke. Although the church existed in the first century, Jesus' message is as much for us as it was for them. The Christians of this city had permitted wealth to dull them spiritually; they became prideful and independent. If we look around... the Church of Laodicea is all around us today..... If you know someone who is attending a Laodicean church... If so,let them know it may be time to either do something about it or find a Philadelphian church to attend instead!

This is spiritual war and probably one of the biggest ones we will see in our lifetime. 📖Put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6). The enemy which is Satan is unleashing everything now in the information war and it will crank up even more. Make sure you are filling up your tank spiritually and let God speak to you and let you understand your role in the coming days. You have been chosen for such a time as this. 👂Be careful in who you listen to and trust God through this. We are almost there. The best is yet to come! “Some trust in chariots and some in horses but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.” Psalm 20:7

Jesus commanded us to preach God's word to every creature in all the nations. He commanded us, he didn't passively suggest so. If not through the body of Christ obedient to the head, our Lord, how else do we expect the world to find Christ, and actively choose Him over satan and the things of this world? When you came in sincere repentance and accepted Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, confessing Him as Lord with your mouth to receive eternal salvation, you also chose to be His & serve Him. How often do you serve Him? Do you share him at all? As Christian's, do we fully comprehend the task we have been assigned by our King, or do we simply seek that which is easy and avoid sharing the gospel at all cost? If we don't step up in our faith and share the good news of our Lord, who will, the heathen? Nobody is more qualified than a child of God! Father wake us and shake us to be BOLD in our mission and use every opportunity to share the truth to those along our path to find salvation in JESUS name. Amen.🙏🔥

A thought today about being the light of the world and why discernment is so important for unity. The Bible says we are to be the light of the world (Matthew 7:14). The Bible also says that Satan is transformed into an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14). If Jesus is the light through us, and Satan can also be an angel of light, then discernment is necessary to know if the light we’re seeing is of God or not. Beware, not all lights that shine are of God. Satan is a master counterfeiter; he is effective, largely because he takes truth and perverts it subtly. He knows if his tactics were blatantly against God, most people would reject it. Because of this, he starts with just enough truth to fool those who don’t know better, and then mixes in evil from there. Satan’s lies will always sound good. Without a center line to follow, we will easily be led astray by well-crafted lies.👇
