📣 REGISTER NOW: Wildly Creative returns with The Modern Day Muse Journey®! Wildly Creative invites you to reconnect with your authentic creative voice, in a safe, supportive space alongside a community of fellow creatives on a similar path. It's offered as two distinct creative-recovery journeys, taken separately or together — many participants do both, either back-to-back or over time. Having wrapped The Artist's Way earlier this year, we're now opening The Modern Day Muse Journey, a transformative 12-week programme designed by author Jill Badonsky for creative practitioners across all disciplines, including theatre, music, literature, dance and the visual arts, led by Edith Podesta. Participants meet nine Modern Day Muses – and one fiercely protective Bodyguard – each offering a different way through creative uncertainty, resistance and self-doubt: attention, imagination, play, self-compassion and courage, among others. Together, they offer practical tools for the challenges that most often stall creative work: procrastination, perfectionism, fear of failure and the pressure to produce. Whether you’re beginning a new creative endeavour, returning to a neglected practice or seeking fresh energy for an existing project, Wildly Creative equips you with practical and imaginative resources to carry into your artistic and professional life. 🔗 Click here for more information on the programme and how to apply ⏱️ Application deadline: Sunday, 30 August 2026 (11:59PM) 💌 If you have any enquiries about the programme, please email Benjamin Lye, our Training & Education Executive, at benlye@wildrice.com.sg.

🏫 The Radicalisation of Mrs. Mary Lim-Rodrigues 📆 24 Sep – 10 Oct 2026 🎟️ Tickets are now on sale with a 15% Early Bird discount for all Cat 1 & 2 seats! Offer is valid till 15 July 2026. Book now! Written by Michelle Tan Directed by Edith Podesta Starring Janice Koh, Ryan Ang, Izzul Irfan, Koh Wan Ching & Suhaili Safari “Solidarity… is a radical posture.” – Paulo Freire School principal Mrs. Mary Lim-Rodrigues is a Nice Lady™. A paragon of good intentions, she believes that every decision she makes is for the best. Except she presides over a sharp-edged system that makes life feel impossible for students like the brilliant but troubled Shan, whose tender young self thrives in the margins. One horrible day, a devastating incident binds these two lives. Suddenly, Mary is confronted by the fine line between help and harm, and her moral faculties are put to the test. What happens when she can no longer rely on the way things have always been done? Can she be good at her job, and also a good person? And is there a right way to live, learn and die? Powerful and thought-provoking in equal measure, Michelle Tan’s play is a story about rupture, irreversible loss, and what it takes to fix the things and people broken by all the good intentions in the world. Then, it is a call for revolution. First commissioned by Singapore Repertory Theatre, The Radicalisation of Mrs. Mary Lim-Rodrigues was developed at Centre 42, followed by a work-in-progress reading as part of the 2024 Singapore International Festival of Arts. Recommended for patrons aged 12 and above Content Warning: References to self-harm and suicide

Teater Ekamatra presents CHARGED 📆 23 Jul to 2 Aug 2026 📍 The Ngee Ann Kongsi Theatre @ Wild Rice Book your tickets here now! Written by Chong Tze Chien and winner of Best Script at The Straits Times Life! Theatre Awards in 2011, CHARGED is set during Chinese New Year and opens on a tense night in camp, where the only soldiers left on guard duty are Malay and Indian. The uneasy quiet is broken by the arrival of Corporal Russell Lim. Old resentments surface, insults escalate, and taboos are shattered. By dawn, two soldiers, one Chinese and one Malay, lie dead. As Investigating Officer Victor de Souza pieces together the chain of events, he confronts a maze of half truths, silences, and conflicting loyalties. Set within the suffocating hierarchy of army life, the play confronts the fraught question of race with unsparing candour and a sharp refusal of easy political comfort. Led by director Mohd Fared Jainal, with lighting design by Adrian Tan and sound design by Safuan Johari, CHARGED features a dynamic ensemble of performers: Brendon Fernandez, Irsyad Dawood, Teoh Jun Vinh, Krish Natarajan, Ali Mazrin, Izzul Irfan, Siti Hajar Abdul Gani, and Serene Chen. Rating: R18

🎻 Tunggu Sekejap: The P. Ramlee Suite 📆 13 – 30 Aug 2026 🎟️ Tickets are now on sale with a 15% Early Bird discount for all Cat 1 & 2 seats! Offer is valid till 15 July 2026. Book now! Written by Julian Wong Directed by Ivan Heng Performed by re: mix, Foo Say Ming, Julian Wong & Fadhli Ramlee 🌟 “A masterful homage to the legendary P. Ramlee... a harmonious blend of music, theatre, and film that resonates deeply.” – Hear65 Back by popular demand, Tunggu Sekejap: The P. Ramlee Suite is Julian Wong’s deeply personal response to the life and legacy of a cultural giant whose music has enchanted generations. In this heartfelt and inspiring tribute to P. Ramlee, Wong – one of Singapore’s most outstanding music arrangers and directors – reshapes beloved classics like Azizah, Getaran Jiwa and Tunggu Sekejap into a three-movement orchestral work that feels both affectionate and alive. Within the intimate setting of The Ngee Ann Kongsi Theatre, the music is performed with warmth, joy and virtuosic grandeur by re: mix, a 30-member chamber orchestra under the assured direction of maestro Foo Say Ming. Throughout the show, Wong steps out from behind the music to reflect on how these songs entered his life and why they continue to speak to him. In a playful and poignant theatrical conceit blending memory, imagination and homage, he finds himself in conversation with P. Ramlee, brought to life by Fadhli Ramlee. What emerges is an affecting portrait of an artist who made music for his time that has since proved to be timeless. Reuniting the creative team led by Ivan Heng that so memorably staged Don’t Call Him Mr. Mari Kita, this extraordinary concert is an invitation to listen closely, and to hear P. Ramlee anew.
