Time to meet our next WiT Forum 2026 partner SSAB.💜 14,600 employees globally, with largest production facilities and operational hubs in Sweden, Finland and the US, and a presence in over 50 countries. Hello WiT community 💜 We hope you've had a lovely summer! We're back from summer break and the countdown to Forum 2026 is officially on. Meet our next Forum 2026 partner, TEK - Academic Engineers and Architects in Finland. 82 employees supporting 82,000 members. That includes over 25,000 students and 4,500 international members. Based all around Finland, with offices in Pasila, Tampere, Lappeenranta, Turku, Oulu, Otaniemi, and Vaasa. TEK is the trade union and professional organisation for technology, architecture, and related STEM fields in Finland — negotiating the collective agreements that guarantee salary increases and longer paid parental and sick leave for its members. Beyond bargaining, they advocate for sustainability, innovation, quality technology education, and equity across the industry, and run member services offering career, legal, and salary support. Their vision is for a technology industry that finds sustainable solutions to the problems of our time: How can we solve the climate crisis? How can AI fuel innovation without driving up inequality and unemployment? How can we improve Finland's economy? TEK's goal is to be at the forefront of pushing for gender equality in technology.
