"After I became president, I asked my escort to go to a restaurant for lunch. We sat down and each of us asked what we wanted. On the front table, there was a man waiting to be served. When he was served, I said to one of my soldiers: go and ask that gentleman to join us. The soldier went and conveyed my invitation to him. The man got up, took his plate and sat down right next to me. While he ate his hands trembled constantly and he did not lift his head from his food. When we finished, he said goodbye without looking at me, I shook his hand and he left. The soldier told me: Madiba that man must have been very ill, seeing as his hands didn't stop shaking while he ate.- Absolutely no! the reason for his trembling is another. Then I told him: That man was the warden of the prison where I stayed. After he tortured me, I screamed and cried asking for some water and he came humiliated me, laughed at me and instead of giving me water, he urinated in my head. He is not sick, he was afraid that I, now president of South Africa, would send him to prison and do to him what he did to me. A Lady had a pet snake that she loved very much. The snake was about 7 ft long and one day it just stopped eating. After several weeks of trying everything the lady still couldn't get the snake to eat. The woman took the snake to the vet and explained her situation. The vet replies, "I see…has your snake been sleeping with you at night or snuggling real close and stretching himself out?" The woman said, "Yes. Everyday and it makes me so sad that I can't help him feel better." The vet says to the lady "Ma'am your snake is not sick. It has been preparing to eat you. He's been sizing you up everyday so he knows how big he has to be. He's not eating so he has enough room to digest you.” Moral of the Story: Recognize the snakes around you. A son took his father to a restaurant to enjoy a delicious dinner. His father was quite old and therefore a little weak too. While eating, food occasionally fell on his shirt and pants. The other guests watched the old man with their faces contorted in disgust, but his son remained calm. After they both finished eating, the son, quietly helped his father and took him to the toilet. Cleaned food scraps from his crumpled face, and attempted to wash food stains from his clothes; graciously combed his gray hair and finally put on his glasses. As he left the bathroom, a deep silence reigned in the restaurant. The son was ready to foot the bill, but before leaving, a man, also old, got up and asked the old man's son: 'Don't you think you left something here ? ' The young man replied: 'No, I did not leave anything.'
