how to waste your time properly ? with the summer coming to an end, with almost one month left, I remembered how everyone of us planned at the beginning of the summer, and I am an experienced time waster, so I can give you my tips. I am dedicating this post to it. wake up late. wake up from your bed late in the morning, like around 10:00 AM or 11:00 AM. so by the time you wake up, you will already have to eat breakfast, and lunch will be approaching. so you won't have time to do work, which is good, so you can successfully waste the hour or two that might be left before lunch. take a nap after lunch. or go out for a coffee and spend it talking with your friends. if you don't find it hard to sleep, I suggest sleeping, as it will cover up most of the time compared to coffee or talking. coffee is expensive and will only last for a few hours, whereas a talk might end early. but sleep could last longer, and it is free. be active on every social media, from linkedin to tiktok to insta to snap to telegram to .. continues.. read comments. write comments. be involved in two parties' argument, knowing that there is no single benefit to your life from it. wait for the next monday. if in case you feel bored or motivated and feel like you need to start something, wait for the next monday. if you are already on sunday, wait for a perfect date and time. plan a lot of things at a time. you saw a youtube video and got dopamine, and now you wrote hundreds of lists of tasks to do per day. wake up at 4AM in the early morning, go to the gym, study, read a book, gym again, read. sleep. no phone. just like a robot without rest. this is good, as it will help you quit early and lose the dopamine, so you could go back to wasting time. plan against your instinct. if you had been sleeping early, make a plan to do your tasks until late at night. if you are a night owl, make the plans in the morning. so either way, it will be against your instinct, and you won't do the task, which is good for wasting your time again. put your phone near yourself and check every single notification. a text from CBE? check it. a text from 127? read it. don't even miss the 8081 learn English day by day text. so I think these are enough tips for wasting your time. if I missed any, please drop them in the comment section. to find this post useful, understand it from right to left, just like arabic :).

Like honestly, I’m just asking as a student… how did something as simple as wearing hijab turn into all of this? Hijab is literally part of who we are, so why does it have to become such a big issue? I really don’t understand how it went from just asking a question to students being restricted from normal places like cafes and libraries, being stopped from getting their degrees, and even being imprisoned. Like how did it get this far 😭 We’ve been wearing masks for 2 years and more and that was never an issue, even though we were literally covering our faces. So why is hijab suddenly such a problem? Just let them study, finish their education and graduate in peace. They’re students, they just want to learn and do their normal university stuff. All this unnecessary stress and suffering over something that shouldn’t even be this complicated is honestly heartbreaking.
