AbdullahAvdyliENG pinned «If an unknown or anonymous individual on social media declares that a person is a disbeliever and has apostatized from Islam, such a claim is not considered acceptable evidence. Testimony is accepted only from a person known for justice, integrity, and accuracy…»
According to the sound scholarly view, the reward of any righteous deed performed with the intention of gifting it to a deceased Muslim reaches them by the permission of Allah. This is also the view preferred by Ibn Taymiyyah, who presented twenty arguments in its support, as well as Ibn al-Qayyim, who presented ten arguments in support of it. Shaykh Abdullah al-Sa’d
If an unknown or anonymous individual on social media declares that a person is a disbeliever and has apostatized from Islam, such a claim is not considered acceptable evidence. Testimony is accepted only from a person known for justice, integrity, and accuracy, whereas the condition of an anonymous individual is unknown, and it cannot be established whether they possess these qualities. Regarding this principle, Ibn Abd al-Barr, the renowned Mālikī scholar, stated in his work “Al-Istidhkār” that there is a scholarly consensus on this matter. The statement, “Nowadays, one can hardly find a scholar as one should be”, is not sound if it originates from one’s ego, for, in reality, it implies: “A scholar who conforms to my personal preferences.” Abdullah Avdyli Rajab 1447 ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Telegram: https://t.me/AbdullahAvdyliENG

Preparing a plan of acts of worship and good deeds for the entire month of Ramaḍaan reflects serious readiness for this blessed month and strong determination to make the most of its precious moments. This approach helps in disciplining the self and overcoming laziness, leading one toward becoming a diligent worshipper and a person who consistently performs good deeds. Moreover, this practice has nothing to do with religious innovation (bid‘ah), as long as it is adopted simply as a method of self-training and personal development. ADVICE FOR THE ELDERLY 🎙 Abdullah Avdyli (excerpt from the Friday sermon): Some elderly people spend their entire day in coffeehouses, engaging in idle talk, playing cards or chess. You were not brought into this world to occupy yourself with such things; you are not at an age to be involved in them. You have reached a stage in life when you should be attending the mosque, remembering Allah, calling upon Him, and increasing your acts of worship. There are times when a young man, only twenty years old, is wrapped in a shroud — while you, in your old age, what more are you waiting for from this life? Do not wait for youth to return after old age; rather, prepare yourself for death and for the everlasting life of the Hereafter. I say this to you — here and now!

THE ONE WHO SAYS: “I AM A MUSLIM” – HOW SHOULD HE BE JUDGED? Imām Abū Sulaymān Ḥamd ibn Muḥammad al-Khaṭṭābī, a scholar of hadith and Islamic jurist (who passed away in the year 388H), in his book, Ma‘ālim as-Sunan – Commentary on the Sunan of Abū Dawood, 1/317, quoted: “If we do not know whether an unknown person is a Muslim or non-Muslim and they declare, 'I am a Muslim', we accept their statement (judging them as belonging to Islam). Likewise, if we observe signs of Islam in them, through their appearance and actions like a Muslim, and similar signs, we judge them as belonging to Islam, as long as they do not show the contrary.” ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Telegram: https://t.me/AbdullahAvdyliENG

Behold what destroys Iman... In the book, Khulāṣah al-Fatāwā*, it is noted: If a non-believer has just converted to Islam, and someone addresses him with a rhetorical question such as, “What harm did the religion of disbelief you were in before (i.e. it didn’t harm you) do to you, and as a result, you converted to Islam?” — by saying this, he commits disbelief. * Author: Imam Tahir bin Ahmad bin Abdurrashid al-Buhari al-Hanafi, who died in the 542 hijri year. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Telegram: t.me/AbdullahAvdylieng
