If something is written for you, it will reach you at the right time. But that doesn't mean you sit back and wait for it to happen. You still have to make the effort. You still have to take the means. You still have to work for what you want. If you ask Allah for a cake, you might suddenly find yourself with flour, sugar, eggs, and milk. But you still have to get up, mix the ingredients, and bake it. That is how you understand qadr. You trust Allah with the outcome, but you don't abandon the effort. Allah has already written your provision, but He has also commanded you to strive and take the means. وَأَن لَّيْسَ لِلْإِنسَانِ إِلَّا مَا سَعَىٰ ﴾ “And that there is not for man except that for which he strives.” —[سورة النجم، الآية ٣٩] So make duʿā. Work for it. Take the means. And leave the outcome to Allah. Tawakkul is not sitting still and calling it qadr. It is doing what you can, then trusting Allah with what you cannot control. The Prophet ﷺ said: Tie it and rely upon Allah.
The month of Rabi' al-Awwal has begun in India alhamdulillah and that means only 6 months left for Ramadan in sha Allah Hafiz Ibn Rajab (رحمة الله) said: Ma'alla ibn al-Fadl (رحمة الله) said: “They (salaf ul-saliheen) used to pray to Allah for six months, may He be exalted, asking Him to cause them to reach Ramadan, and they used to call upon Him for six months asking Him to accept it from them.” Yahya Ibn Abi Kathir (رحمة الله) said: "One of their (Salaf ul Saliheen) duaas was: « اَللَّهُمَّ سَلِّمنِي إلى رَمَضَان، وَسَلِّمْ لِي رَمَضَان، وَتَسَلَّمْهُ مِنِّي مُتَقَبَّلا » O Allah, keep me safe until Ramadan, keep Ramadan safe for me, and accept it from me.” —Lataa'if al-Ma'aarif (p. 148)
Shaykh Muḥammad Ibn Ṣāliḥ al-‘Uthaymīn رحمه الله said: “If you want your wealth to increase and your sins to be forgiven, then you should give forth in charity.” ● [أحكام القرأن ٢/٢٩٣]
The Character of Muslim! The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Indeed the most beloved among you to me, and the nearest to sit with me on the Day of Judgement is the best of you in character. And indeed, the most disliked among you to me, and the one sitting furthest from me on the Day of Judgement are the Tharthārūn, and the Mutashaddiqūn, and the Mutafaihiqūn." They said: "O Messenger of Allah! We know about the Tharthārūn (those who are excessive in speech) and the Mutashaddiqūn (those who talk about people unnecessarily and reviles them) but what about the Mutafaihiqūn?" He (ﷺ) said: “The arrogant.” — [Jami at-Tirmidhi 2018 | Hasan] Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Shall I tell you about who is most beloved to me and the one who will be seated closest to me on the Day of Judgment?” The people were silent, so he (ﷺ) repeated that two or three times. Then the people said: “Yes, O Messenger of Allah.” He (ﷺ) said: “The one among you with the best character.” —[Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 272 | Sahih] Author's Note: In this Era, where using foul language, sledging and using bad words are common even in Muslim society, try to inculcate these noble character and become the men with best character and be close to Prophet ﷺ at the day of Judgement. بارك الله فيك
The Prophet ﷺ said: "O people! Spread (the greeting of) Salam, feed others, uphold the ties of kinship, and pray during the night when people are sleeping, and you will enter Paradise with Salam (peacefully).” -Ibn Majah 3251 (Sahih)
Aaj ke fitno ke daur mein ek Talib-e-Ilm ka kirdar kya hona chahiye? Kin usoolon ko mazbooti se thaam kar chalna chahiye? Aur fitno ke darmiyan apne deen aur manhaj ki hifazat kaise ki jaye? In sha Allah, is mukhtasar course mein in aham masa'il ko samajhne ki koshish ki jayegi. Registration: 🔗 https://forms.gle/6g47PGboxJ3P4w5z7 Telegram: https://t.me/mahadabibakr_alislami

Ibn Taymiyah رَحِمَهُ الله said: As for sins, a person should not do them, and if he does them, then he must repent from them. Whoever repents and feels remorse resembles his father Adam. But whoever persists and makes excuses resembles his enemy Iblis. —Majmu' al-Fatawa 2/109
Ibn al Qayyim رَحِمَهُ الله : Charity (sadaqah) ransoms the servant from the punishment of Allah, for his sins and wrongdoings warrant his destruction. Then charity comes and ransoms him from the punishment and releases him from it. —al-Wabil al-Sayyib, pg. 73

قال بعض الحكماء: إذا أحببتَ المالَ فلا تنسَ الحساب وإذا أحببتَ القصورَ فلا تنسَ القبور وإذا أحببتَ الخلقَ فلا تنسَ الخالق Some of the wise people said: If you love wealth, then do not forget the Reckoning. If you love palaces, then do not forget the graves. If you love the creation, then do not forget the Creator. These are words that remind us of the reality of this world. There is no harm in a person possessing wealth, or living in a large house, or loving his family and his companions. But the mistake is that these things distract him from Allah and from the Home of the Hereafter. For every blessing in this world, the servant will be questioned about it. And every person will leave this world for his grave, and nothing will remain with him except his righteous deeds. Keep this world in your hands, and do not keep it in your heart. Make the love of Allah greater than every other love. For by doing so, you will attain happiness in this world and in the Hereafter
Prophet ﷺ said: أَكْثِرُوا الصَّلَاةَ عَلَىَّ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَلَيْلَةَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَمَنْ صَلَّى عَلَىَّ صَلَاةً صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ عَشْرًا “Increase your supplications for me on the day and night of Friday. Whoever blesses me once, Allah will bless him ten times.” — al-Sunan al-Kubrá lil-Bayhaqī 5994
Abu Huraira reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) used to say: “O Allah, set right for me my religion which is the safeguard of my affairs. And set right for me the affairs of my world wherein is my living. And set right for me my Hereafter on which depends my after-life. And make the life for me (a source) of abundance for every good and make my death a source of comfort for me protecting me against every evil.”
Social media should be avoided as much as possible—unless it is being used to spread goodness, benefit others, or call people to Islam. In that case, every sincere effort can become a means of immense reward, by the permission of Allah. One of the greatest harms of social media is that it distracts people from what truly benefits them. Hours are spent scrolling without purpose, until a person realizes that their most valuable asset—their time—has been wasted. In the end, they neither make meaningful progress in their religion nor in their worldly life. Another major danger is comparison. No one has a perfect life. Every person carries struggles that others cannot see. Yet on social media, people usually display only their happiest moments and greatest achievements. As a result, others begin comparing someone else's highlights with their own lowest moments. This often leads to sadness, anxiety, dissatisfaction, and even ingratitude for the countless blessings Allah has already given them. This constant comparison can slowly damage a person's mental well-being, making them lose motivation and preventing them from doing anything truly beneficial. Even righteous people are not safe from this trial. One of Shaytan's subtle tricks is that if he cannot make a believer fall into major sins, he leads them to minor sins. If he cannot achieve that either, he keeps them occupied with permissible (mubāḥ) distractions that carry no reward, simply to prevent them from earning rewards for the Hereafter. Faith does not remain strong on its own. If a person stops seeking knowledge, remembering Allah, and striving to strengthen their iman, it gradually weakens. A weakened heart becomes more vulnerable to Shaytan's whispers, until a person may slowly move from permissible distractions to minor sins, and eventually to major sins. Protect your time, protect your heart, and protect your iman. Your greatest investment is not in what people see online, but in what Allah sees in private. And when we try to reduce or leave social media, Shaytan will whisper to our hearts: “Islam has so many restrictions. What's wrong with scrolling social media just to relax? Can't a person enjoy life?” But the reality is very different. The pleasure of endless scrolling comes from short bursts of dopamine. It feels good for a few moments, but it is often followed by emptiness, anxiety, and the desire for even more. It never truly satisfies the heart. On the other hand, when a believer avoids even small sins, and at times even leaves some permissible (mubāḥ) things for the sake of Allah and to protect their faith, Allah blesses them with a peace and contentment that no worldly entertainment can provide. That tranquility remains with them as long as they strive to stay away from sin. This is a blessing that even many billionaires cannot buy. If there is no peace in the heart, even living in a palace can feel suffocating. Allah says: «﴿أَلَا بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوبُ﴾» ”Indeed, it is by the remembrance of Allah that hearts find true peace.” — Surah Ar-Ra'd (13:28)
Istighfar is the eraser of sins and the purifier of hearts. Whoever commits a sin should perform istighfar. Bakr al-Muzani — one of the tabi‘in — used to say: “You commit many sins, so increase in istighfar. For indeed, if a man finds in his record between every two lines an istighfar, he will be delighted by its presence there.” — Taken from the twitter account of Shaykh Salih al Osaymī

In the last part of surah Aal-e-‘Imran, Allāh describes the people of understanding by saying: ﴿الَّذِينَ يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ قِيَامًا وَقُعُودًا وَعَلَىٰ جُنُوبِهِمْ وَيَتَفَكَّرُونَ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هَٰذَا بَاطِلًا سُبْحَانَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ﴾ “Those who remember Allāh (dhikr) while standing, sitting, and on their sides, and who reflect upon the creation of the heavens and the earth, saying (in du’a): “O our Lord, You did not create all this for nothing! Exalted are You! So protect us from the punishment of the fire!” [3:191] In his tafsir, Imam al-Baghawi رَحِمَهُ الله wrote: [قال ابن عون : الفكرة تذهب الغفلة وتحدث للقلب الخشية كما يحدث الماء للزرع النبات] Ibn 'Awn رَحِمَهُ الله said: Reflection drives heedlessness away and brings about reverential fear to one's heart in the same way that water brings about growth to a plant. 📓-[Tafsir al-Baghawi 2/152]
Most of the time, all a home needs is more Qur’an being recited within it. Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) said: “Fill your homes with light as much as you can. For a house in which the Qur’ān is recited becomes spacious and comfortable for its people, its goodness increases, the angels attend it, and the devils abandon it. But a house in which the Qur’ān is not recited becomes constricted for its people, its goodness decreases, the angels abandon it, and the devils attend it.” — Sunan al-Dārimī, Hadith 3352
Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen رحمه الله said: “Whenever you make someone else happy, rest assured that happiness will come back to you in return, along with your reward from Allah, the Mighty and Majestic.” —Commentary on Al-Muntaqaa, 4/642
