December 17, 2024 Addis Ababa CIC commemorated International PWD Day with a dialogue and panel discussion titled " Amplifying PWDs to Leadership: Strengthening Potentials and Overcoming Challenges." The event brought together various organizations working on PWDs, human rights advocacy, youth and women's issues, as well as academia and research institutions. It was a truly insightful experience, offering valuable lessons on promoting inclusive governance and fostering more inclusive workspaces. I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Assistant Professor Fisha from Addis Ababa University’s Department of Special Needs and Early Childhood Care and Education, Mr. Mesud from CEHRO, Mr. Tabor from ENBA, and all the participants.
