Firebird has launched the CIS region’s largest AI factory in Armenia, backed by industry giants NVIDIA, CoreWeave, Dell, Schneider Electric, and Vertiv. By 2027, Firebird plans to deploy over 70,000 NVIDIA Rubin and Blackwell GPUs across 300 megawatts of capacity in Hrazdan. Why it matters: - Armenian developers, startups, and universities get local access to supercomputer-grade compute to build AI models. - Tech leaders like Perplexity are already using the network. With strategic backing from NVIDIA and CoreWeave, Firebird is expanding toward a 2-gigawatt regional network positioning Armenia as a primary frontier AI hub.
