He will share insights about his game "In This World" - a model for unlimited and unpredictable discovery, challenging assumptions, and divergent exploration. Infinite Games is a series of bi-monthly dialogues between game designers and public officers about serious games, spanning the spectrum of policy areas and manifesting in diverse forms. Game designers share about the conceptualisation, process of development, and impact of their work; and public officers are invited to contextualise these games to the work we do in public service.

In this session of Infinite Games, game designer Kathryn Hymes from award-winning studio Thorny Games will be sharing about her experience co-designing therapeutic games for and with people with aphasia – the loss of language due to brain injury – alongside faculty at Carnegie Mellon University, University of Pittsburgh, and members of the Aphasia Recovery Connection, a US-based support group.
