How many of us have wanted to pray, but simply didn’t know what to say? Maybe you’re new to prayer and wondering, Where do I even start? What if I say the wrong thing? Or maybe you’ve been praying for years, but there are days when your heart feels too full or too empty to find the words. Here’s where the Psalms can help. They give us words for the moments when we have none of our own. Joy, sorrow, fear, gratitude, anger, hope, confusion — there’s a Psalm for all of it. Prayer doesn’t have to be complicated. Start where you are. Find a Psalm that speaks to what’s happening in your heart today, and let its words become your prayer. Because God already knows what’s in your heart; sometimes, we just need help putting it into words. 📖 Read more

It is not just important that we encounter the love of Christ, but that we are also persistent in the lifelong process of becoming better disciples, understanding what the Church teaches and why we believe what we believe in. And this endeavour is not just for our sake – it enables us to be effective in mission. How might the Lord be inviting you to deepen your formation as His disciple? The devil seeks to tempt us and draw us away from God. But we don’t have to live in fear. We can learn to recognise and respond to his attacks. By cultivating spiritual awareness and staying close to God, we can strengthen our defences through three key steps: 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘋𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 and 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯. 📖 Read more: https://buff.ly/sQDDQw8 📹 Learn more about demons and how we might be unknowingly exposing ourselves to evil: https://buff.ly/AwbP5fq
How often do we reach for our phones the moment life feels overwhelming? We scroll for hours, keep ourselves busy, or chase the next achievement — anything to avoid sitting with what's really going on in our hearts. In a world that constantly tells us to do more, be more, and achieve more, is it any wonder that so many of us struggle to find peace? The answer isn't to eliminate every source of stress because that's simply not possible. Real peace isn't found in escaping suffering or distracting ourselves from it. It's found in learning to bring every joy, fear, and burden before God. Through prayer, we discover a peace that doesn't depend on perfect circumstances, but on the certainty that we are deeply loved and safely held in His hands. So perhaps the question isn't, "How do I escape the stress?" but rather, "Where am I looking for peace?" 📖 Read more
🇸🇬 Happy 61st National Day, Singapore! As we celebrate 61 years of God's faithfulness to our nation, let us remember that our faith isn't meant to stay within the walls of our churches. We are called to be Christ's light in our homes, workplaces, schools, and communities — loving our neighbours and serving the common good. Today, let us continue to lift our nation, our leaders, and all who call this country home in our prayers. May God continue to bless Singapore with peace, unity, wisdom, and hope. 🙏
As Singapore marks 61 years of independence, we have so much to be grateful for. We've grown up in a nation known for its safety, efficiency, and stability — where things often run as planned, and solutions are never too far away. It's easy to believe that if we work hard enough or plan well enough, we can stay in control of our lives. But life has a way of reminding us otherwise. Plans change, unexpected crosses come, and we're faced with the humbling truth that not everything will go according to our plans. As Christians, we're invited to loosen our grip and place our trust in God instead. Following Jesus isn't about having everything under control — it's about surrendering our lives to the One who does. Sometimes, the greatest act of faith isn't holding on tighter, but letting God lead the way. 📖 Read more
