I’m sure most of you have already heard that every student needs to get a TIN before going to school this year. But if you haven’t heard or you didn’t take it seriously, you need to sort it out asap. I heard you can’t even register without it❗️ And since it’s tied to the gov’t office, you better handle it now so things go smoothly 🙃

Dear students: Last semester, I have noticed that most of you guys were not well aware of the common academic rules and regulations specifically those related to registration. For the good of all of us, I believe it will be better if you guys get orientation on that. As you remember, last semester the departments prepared "A welcome and orientation" for second-year students but only a few were presented. Despite this fact, most of the students give "unawareness" as an excuse for the things they have missed, done wrong or got accused of. • In this(the coming) week the departments are planning to give orientation based on their schedule. On Wed, Feb-12, 2025GC at 4:00 pm department of Computer Science is going to give orientation for all regular CS students. The faculty dean will be there in the orientation. • It's not mandatory to attain the orientation, but providing "unawareness of regulations" as an excuse for mischief will not be acceptable any longer.

Today, while scrolling through Twitter📱, I saw an interesting post... I've been discussing this with some people before, and I want to share my thoughts💭 with you guys. AI is changing the game, TRUE, but full automation is still far off i think it will take ages. I’m not saying it’s impossible, ግን ለአሁኑ I don't think it can replace:  🔸 Problem-solving (real world Problems) 🧠 (coz Humans have the unique ability to think creatively and find new solutions, while AI only uses collected data to solve problems.)  🔹 Some System designs 🏗  🔸 More Generally jobs that require critical thinking 🛠 (ግን እንዳልኩት ይህ ሚሆነው ለጊዜው ነው... There will be days they will take over many things) 🔶 Tech demand is still growing, and more skilled engineers are needed in AI, cybersecurity, and cloud computing🌐. (እንዚ ላይ ወጥሮ መስራት💪 more likely this industry will last long unlike Web and Mobile Development) ,💲💶 Salaries might shift, but top talent will remain valuable. 💰  🚥 Also, Transitioning will take time⌛️... I don’t think all these big companies will fully transition to automation anytime soon. It’ll take time until it’s certain that AI can be reliable. 🔥Instead of fearing AI, learn to use it and stay ahead! በጥበብ ከተጠቀምነው ርቀን መሄድ እንችላለን !! ምንም መፍራት አያስፈልግም !!💪🔥 Feel free to drop your ideas too!🤓
