The pre-Christian Germanic people and indeed all of the Indo-European people had an understanding of a divine absolute. This idea comes from a shared origin point when all branches of the Indo-European/Aryan Race were one people living in the same place with the same culture. There is an ur religion that later developed into the many branches of the Indo-European tree as people groups migrated to different places and built unique civilizations over time. https://www.youtube.com/live/5_DVm7L9s20?is=VmMt8qJkc8-3j6j7 @Folk_Spirit
Historically our people have had no shortage of heroes who embodied the spirit of freedom and stood in defiance of tyranny against overwhelming odds. Source credit T.me/RedneckRepository/13148 @Folk_Spirit

This post goes into detail regarding the historic divination and purification rites of the Slavs involving pouring lead. Similar traditions exist in Germanic culture. Frankly this channel is one of my favorites and I strongly recommend following it. Tons of good information here. T.me/OnReturningToTheOldGods/157 @Folk_Spirit

One of the reasons throwing away one's shield in battle was seen as dishonorable is because doing so weakened your entire warband. The shield didn't just protect the user. It protected the man next to him. Any weakness in the formation could be exploited and cause higher casualties or even result in defeat. In our current times we don't usually see shields on the battlefield (though in riots and street demonstrations they have made a huge come back) but the lesson stays with us. Be mindful of how your actions will affect your brothers. Fight like a professional, and don't do something that will expose them to imminent danger. The linked post gives a good explanation of how the day/night cycle exist in union. They were simply two parts of the same whole. In fact the Indo-European day was seen to start with the beginning of night. T.me/AionDivinatory/112 @Folk_Spirit
Found this video and while it is long it seems to be pretty solid. Its several shorter videos from Carolyn Emerick compiled together and makes a strong presentation for embracing our ancestral roots and rejecting the foreign ideologies and policies that would destroy who we are and everything we've ever accomplished. https://youtu.be/u34TfgoZaQQ @Folk_Spirit
