  • 13 авг.🛡️ 401st Brigade completes eight-month Lebanon deployment: The IDF’s 401st Armored Brigade has completed more than eight months of operations in southern Lebanon and is returning to the southern sector. According to the IDF, the brigade destroyed more than 1,200 Hezbollah terrorist infrastructures, seized over 600 weapons and eliminated more than 60 terrorists. Operating across mountainous and complex terrain, the brigade seized key tactical positions and conducted targeted raids on Hezbollah infrastructure, locating weapons stockpiles, combat compounds and numerous underground routes. Forces also seized a military site that enabled entry into the village of Rshaf, where they destroyed tunnels, shafts, anti-tank missiles, weapons caches and other terrorist infrastructure. The brigade said it adapted methods developed during two years of combat in Gaza to the Lebanese terrain, including expanded use of advanced robotics to disrupt and destroy enemy infrastructure before manned forces entered. The fighting also claimed the lives of brigade fighters and commanders and wounded others. Lebanese media initially reported six people killed in the Ansar strike. Lebanon’s official National News Agency later reported seven dead and three wounded.
