🇮🇱 Israeli rescue delegation operating at earthquake sites in Colombia: An Israeli delegation led by the Home Front Command, in cooperation with the Defense and Foreign Ministries, arrived in Colombia Friday following the earthquake and is operating with local authorities at several impact sites. Teams are working at two major sites to locate and rescue trapped individuals. At a damaged university hospital in Cali, Home Front Command engineers are assisting with complex rubble-removal efforts aimed at reaching trapped people and restoring the affected wing. The delegation is also mapping damaged buildings, helping authorities assess response priorities, and establishing a data management system to support situational assessments and decision-making. ⚔️ Hamas ceasefire violations along the Yellow Line: During IDF operational activity in the southern Gaza Strip near the Yellow Line, a tank operating with the Givati Brigade drove over an explosive device planted by Hamas. No IDF injuries were reported. In a separate incident, Paratroopers Brigade soldiers identified two terrorists who crossed the Yellow Line “in an attempt to sabotage weapons belonging to IDF troops,” according to the military. The IDF said the terrorists approached the troops “in a manner that posed a threat.” Soldiers opened fire and eliminated both terrorists. The IDF described both incidents as a “violation of the ceasefire” and said it views them “gravely,” indicating that the military intends to respond. Later, the IDF said it carried out a strike targeting a terror operative in the southern Gaza Strip. Palestinian media reported that the strike hit a tent in the Khan Younis area, injuring several people. 🪖 IDF extends compulsory service to 32 months, details compensation: Following decisions by the government and Knesset and citing operational security needs, the IDF announced details of the extension of compulsory military service from 30 to 32 months. The extension applies to male soldiers and women serving in positions with the same service obligation as men who enlisted from July 2024, as well as relevant new enlistees through June 2029. Updated discharge dates are expected to appear in IDF systems by the end of September. Soldiers who enlisted for 30 months between July 1, 2024 and June 30, 2026 will receive additional compensation for the two added months. Those who enlisted through June 2025 will receive twice their basic monthly subsistence allowance during months 31 and 32, while those who enlisted from July 2025 through June 2026 will receive 1.75 times the basic allowance. Exact amounts depend on the soldier’s service characteristics. The extension also applies to relevant officers and may affect their discharge dates and transition into career service. 🎯 Senior Hezbollah “Badder Unit” commander eliminated: The IDF also announced that it struck the Deir ez-Zahrania area yesterday and eliminated Abu Hassan Alaa, a senior commander in Hezbollah’s “Badder Unit.” According to the military, Hassan Alaa participated in advancing numerous attacks against IDF soldiers operating in the Security Zone, including explosive-drone launches toward troops in southern Lebanon. Over previous years, he commanded several Hezbollah combat sectors that operated against IDF soldiers and Israeli civilians. The IDF said Hassan Alaa was eliminated in response to Hezbollah’s action against troops operating in the Security Zone. The military described his elimination as a severe degradation of the unit’s management capabilities, alongside the elimination of Radwan Force battalion commander Ali Samir Al-Haj Hassan at the Ansar headquarters. 🎯 Radwan Force commander and additional terrorists eliminated: The strike on the Radwan Force headquarters eliminated Ali Samir Al-Haj Hassan, a battalion commander in Hezbollah’s Radwan Force, along with several additional terrorists who the IDF said were involved in advancing attacks against IDF soldiers operating in the Security Zone. The IDF said the headquarters was used by Hezbollah to command its activities in the area. Hassan’s family was also present with him inside the military headquarters and was reportedly harmed in the strike. The IDF emphasized that the family members were not the target and said the strike was specifically directed at Hassan, whom it described as a lawful target under international law. The military said Hassan used his family as human shields by hiding alongside them inside the military headquarters. “Only later did the IDF learn that Hezbollah deliberately put civilians in that military compound,” the Prime Minister’s Office said. Lebanese media initially reported six people killed in the Ansar strike. Lebanon’s official National News Agency later reported seven dead and three wounded. 💥 Hezbollah drone attack and IDF response in southern Lebanon: An IDF officer and two soldiers were seriously wounded overnight when an explosive drone launched by Hezbollah struck troops operating in the Ali al-Taher Ridge area of southern Lebanon. According to the IDF, Hezbollah launched the drone at around 2:30 a.m. toward troops operating in the Security Zone. The drone exploded near soldiers of the elite Yahalom combat engineering unit. The wounded soldiers were evacuated to a hospital and their families were notified. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said: “This morning Hezbollah violated the ceasefire in Lebanon by attacking our soldiers in the security zone, which protects Israeli communities just across the border. The Hezbollah attack seriously injured three of our soldiers.” In response, the IDF struck Hezbollah terror infrastructure in the Nabatieh and Ansar areas of southern Lebanon, including what the military described as a central headquarters of Hezbollah’s Radwan Force in Ansar. 🎯 Hamas company commander eliminated in Khan Yunis: The IDF said it eliminated Hudhaifa Khaled Suleiman Qawari, a company commander in the Khan Yunis Brigade of Hamas’s military wing, in an aerial strike in the southern Gaza Strip on Thursday. According to the IDF, throughout the war Qawari was involved in training Hamas terrorists, transferring weapons across southern Gaza, and efforts to rehabilitate and rebuild the Hamas terrorist organization. More recently, he advanced attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians. The strike took place amid the ceasefire. The IDF said Qawari was eliminated because of the threat he posed. 🎯 Hamas commander who held numerous hostages eliminated: The IDF confirmed the elimination of terrorist Muhammad Bassam Muhammad Mushtaha, who was struck two weeks ago in the northern Gaza Strip. Mushtaha served as a company commander in the Shati’ Battalion of Hamas’s military wing. He infiltrated Israeli territory and participated in the October 7 massacre. Throughout the war, he took part in holding numerous hostages captive, including Tsachi Idan, Corporal Noa Marciano, Ziv Berman, Omri Miran, Ori Megidish, Naama Levy and Matan Angrerst. 🛰️ CENTCOM moves to establish multinational attack-drone force: U.S. Central Command announced efforts to establish Task Force Falcon Strike, described as the first-ever multi-domain, multinational attack-drone task force. The unit will employ one-way attack drones and unmanned systems operating above, on and below the sea, supported by U.S. military personnel and regional partners. The initiative follows the establishment nine months ago of Task Force Scorpion Strike, the U.S. military’s first dedicated one-way attack-drone squadron in the Middle East.
