Ndindi Nyoro: Health care is a problem because the President owns the system that runs the SHA system.
Ugandan journalist Remmy Asiteza is currently detained without charges after publishing scandals involving corrupt Minister for the Presidency Milly Babalanda, who has been in the spotlight multiple times over various controversies, including mismanaging a UGX 15 billion recruitment process for hundreds of local administrators, as well as siphoning UGX 7 billion from the state printing corporation after unlawfully dissolving its board and taking over procurement functions. Despite President Yoweri Museveni having ordered a formal investigation into the recruitment irregularities and Parliament's COSASE committee already summoning Babalanda to explain her role in the UPPC scandal, Ugandan security agencies have instead chosen to target the journalist, holding him in deplorable conditions without any court appearance while pressuring him to reveal his sources. Kenyans are calling for intervention over the ever rising cost of mobile data, saying expensive internet bundles are making it increasingly difficult for ordinary citizens to stay connected, work, study and access essential online services.
Dr Miguna Miguna reveals the title of his soon to be Published Book.
Homabay: Votes kept, roads not kept
I have seen TUTAM bloggers saying the Homa Bay roads were “already in the pipeline.” Pipeline how? Ruto already appears convinced the Luo political bloc is in his pocket, so where is the pressure to impress anyone with roads and development? If he wanted those Homa Bay roads fixed, he could move with incredible speed just like he tarmacked a road in Ol Kalou in hours. So spare is your 'pipeline' bullshit!
Apart from exposing the panic in the Kenya Kwanza regime, the images and videos coming out of Homa Bay are exposing something else entirely. In 2026, we are seeing places with terrible roads and stretches where you can barely see electricity poles, yet these are the same people being told TUTAM. Now you almost start wondering whether some leaders were really worried about stopping the Linda Mwananchi rally, or whether they simply did not want the rest of Kenya seeing the Homa Bay that the cameras are now showing us.
